It would take roughly 13 hours to guess every combination (you'd probably get it before that though)

In almost every case it would be a far more effective use of your time gathering the resources to create C4 and use that on the door instead :)

I got bored on one of the NA official servers and ran around guessing 1234 on every door I could find for about two hours and eight deaths. Got one door open to an empty shack.
