    I just started a server tonight for the first time and I decided to go with the Rust++ mod, that being said I don't see a way to add the /remove tool available on the server I last played on. Also as stated in the title is there a way to add multiple kits such as /kit starter is one kit and /kit hatchet is another kit.
    and now the big question, how do I add an admin? I joined game and logged into rcon and became masteradmin, when I try to give my friend /addadmin playername it does nothing and if I try to flag him as "all" admin it says hes not an administrator... thanks :)

    I don't know if rust++ has the remove tool. But we use rust essentials on our server and it has it.

    Rust++ has the "remove" tool for a while. Our command is /instako not /remove.
    As for the admin you use /addadmin playername or /addadmin player name when you friend is online.

    Nope just enter his name no RCON needed. Kits will eventually come with our Magma API release.

    Man, I had no idea what the hell that was and I end up installing Rust Essentials for /remove

    Will totally move back to R++ now!

    I just bought a new server, and I want to add Rust ++, Will that move my server from Community Servers To Modded?
    I have seen servers with oxide on the Community Servers. I just want the server maintenance rust++ gives you and /remove pillars and ceilings as they are annoying if you misplace them.

    That would be their GSP, not Oxide. If you Google it, you'll see that anyone can switch between those categories, so unless I'm mistaken, you could even be an "Official" server unless they've somehow changed that recently. You could do this with any server mod.

    First is GSP game server provider? Also I did try to google it , but i could not find how you switch?
    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I just want to ad a mod that helps me manage the server /ping /permissions for co admins . Not change the game play, I want a vanilla server, essentially keep it on the community side and all game settings default.

    Yes, it's a command-line option that providers would set, which likely you aren't able to access, so you'd have to talk to them.

    For Oxide, there are some plugins that would do what you'd like:
    - Ping: http://forum.rustoxide.com/resources/ping.77/
    - Removal Tool: http://forum.rustoxide.com/resources/vinegar.116/ or http://forum.rustoxide.com/resources/remover-tool.54/
    - Permissions: would be based on what you want. The Oxmin plugin is what is most popular, which uses a flag system that other plugins can hook into. http://forum.rustoxide.com/resources/oxmin.1/

    Oxide could easily force all servers using it to become modded. which is what it should be doing.

    Oxide by default sets the server tags to modded. You can override that in a plugin hook though. The official thing got fixed a while back.

    Just fixed this myself, rather Simple, in your rustpp.cfg file add the line
    "default_admin_flags=CanKick|CanTeleport|CanAnnoun ce|CanGetFlags|CanMute|CanUnmute|CanSilence"

    i added mine here...
    Code:
    pvp=true
    instant_craft=false
    enforce_truth=true
    sleepers=true
    default_admin_flags=CanKick|CanTeleport|CanAnnounce|CanGetFlags|CanMute|CanUnmute|CanSilence
    notice_enabled=true
    notice_interval=2400000
    notice_messages_amount=3
    notice1=Please ask for help if needed. Steam ID bullwinkle151
    notice2=Commands: /help, /location, /history, /players, /ping, /share, /unshare
    notice3=/friends, /addfriend, /unfriend, /pm "name" "message"

    Confirming /addadmin is busted. When quotemarks arent used it returns no message, when you try "Player Name" it claims the player can't be found.
