Anyone got a list of common codes? I dont want to use one and get destroyed for a nub mistake.
Anyone got a list of common codes? I dont want to use one and get destroyed for a nub mistake.
start with 0000 and slowly move up
Doesn't really matter too much as your door can still be destroyed.
Pretty sure s/he was asking as in to avoid using a commonly used code rather than to crack a code.
Yes!
~20% of all 4 digit pins are either 1234, 1111, 0000, or 1212.
Theoretically, you have a 1/5 chance of getting through any door by trying all of those pins.

Just make something unique to you and add a diff code to every door...so if they happen to get in your first door by some miracle they gotta go through more codes for the 2nd
Edited:
Not like its going to matter cuse imma just blow your door up anyway if I want in not spend time trying to figure it out
Where did you get 1/5?
This is why I love combo locks. It gives people a chance to break into peoples houses without explosive charges.
20% of 100 is 1/5 in fraction....takes 5 20's to make 100....
Right in the post
Nice one
i would type a code from 3000-8000 and have no repeated numbers or numerical order
Example: 5739
Damn your quick! Before i could even edit it you were on my case!
Let me try that again!
Most common 4 digit iPhone passcodes. Though some pertain to the physical GUI layout.
![]()
He pulled it out of his ass, like all uncited statistics.
I still think its all irrelevant when I want in your place imma blow the shit out your front door. Besides explosions are far more satisfying than hacking a door.
Edited:
And 1/5 is simple math 20% of 100 is 1/5 of 100%.. go read a math book sometime
Likewise, here are the most common card PINs.
I lost all faith in impossible code breaking

You don't have to be rude.
It gives me joy to imagine folks working on some kind of homebrew method of frequency analysis of 4 digit codes so they can steal someones pants and rocks.
Cavemen with spreadsheets.
rock collections are serious bisnis
why?
it's people being boring and not caring about their choice of code that's the issue, not the code itself
and the notion that any code could be unbreakable is crazy talk - you'll get codes that would realistically take thousands of years to break, but every code can be broken eventually (unless there's some crazy Artemis Fowl shit going on that I don't know about)
What I mean is that whats the use in code breaking when its now simple to break
2001 is on the list...S**t...BRB...
What do you mean?
The majority of codes aren't any of those most common ones, so there's still a 4/5 chance that you'll have to do some 'code breaking'
Bearing in mind that many players don't even put codes on their doors, so you have to factor in a percentage of players whos' door you'll sit in front of trying to guess the code when there is no code to be guessed
Edited:
you don't need to censor your shits here
or your fucks
or even your cunts
how convenient is that!
1337, obviously
Probably a bad idea to use 1337 in a game![]()
Don't forget to check the pins 1997-2003, as a large amount of the community has birth dates in this range.
The point is that 'code breaking' is hard and takes about lots of thinking and many tries and fails and its usually interesting when you find the right code and wonder why they used that code. but now its just simple like 1212 1234 0987 and theres no fun or thinking at all.
I still don't understand
Are you upset because people tend to use generic codes and that takes the challenge out of it?
Never mind im getting people more confused (im from paris and and i just moved and im still bad at English)
It's okay! I know it can't be easy learning a second language. Best of luck to you!
Thanks, I moved to the USA 2 years ago but my first day there was like giving a speech when you dont know what kind speech your supposed to say
Rather have them waste a hour on my door cracking the code, then blowing the shit out of my door :D
I reccommend staying the fuck out of the 1990's and 2000's, those are birthdays for the common rust age group, which I am a part of.
door codes should be boobytrapped imo. Get 5 wrong and your history :)
I use my bank card pin :D
ty m8
We were joking about our password being 1337 and my friend went and tried it on a random base and got in.
