Starting a thread to see how much people have played rust in hours. Please don't lie about the amount of house you have played. I want to form an approximately accurate graph of the amount of hour the people who use these forums play the game.

If you are unsure about how many hours you have played rust, select the game on your steam library and it will tell you how many hours you've spent hitting people with rocks.

At the time of this post i have personally logged 272 hours in rust, view my steam profile here.

Well have fun and be nice, this is not a competition. It really doesn't matter how much you play or if you havent played at all and you just decide to stalk the rust forums all day about a game you haven't played. :)

No way for me to tell ;_; rust has me logged for like three hours, but I have way more than that. I have been on an extended hiatus though, waiting for it to get cleaned up a little, so to speak.

How has steam only logged you for 3 hours? I didn't think it was possible to not launch the game through steam. Is there another reason that it would do that?

I have 23 hours. I work full time and spend a lot of time with my girlfriend, had the game for 2 weeks now.

Hopefully tomorrow when I have a day off I can bump that up to 30ish!

I have like 40'ish hours logged on Steam, and most of that is my brother*. I played quite a bit back when it was on the old webplayer though.

*: Yes, my 26 year old brother plays stuff on my Steam account. He grew up around me and knows better than to use hacks or anything. After all like I said he is why I have as much time logged and I am not VAC'ed. He shares the ideology of "if I want to use "hacks" that badly I'dd dust off the old Playstation and dig out the Gameshark and go nuts".

250+ on steam and even more on browser. Starting to get a bit bored now because the last interesting update was when the spike walls came, pretty much just small patches and bed after that.

WTF seriously? You have that many hours. How is that even possible. You must have more than like 5 people playing on your account. I mean i think my eyeballs would turn into goop if i played that much. Do you play like 24/7 since it was released on steam.

To be honest, I am not sure why. Steam is kinda funny about some of my game's play times.

Its possible s/he stays logged in at all times on a PvE server with all of their stuff on hand so they don't turn into a Sleeper and lose it.

That would definitely explain it, i probably have some of my hours logged by sitting afk. Not allot of them though. I play on my pvp server.

This game was a webbrowser game? I didn't know that unity could be played in a web browser. Or did they change the game engine. Not really sure how long this game has been around. I just picked it up when i heard about it when it was released on steam.

UnityPlayer. A lot of browser-based games are using that instead of Flash or Java these days.

As long as you follow the rules, you won't get banned.
