Hello,
I got a server with FPS, and I am now looking at my Control Panel, and downloaded the mods available, but I have no idea where to go from here. Its a fresh new server, and I would love to share it with someone who knows what they are doing. Please post here and we can gt started.

FPS lets you install mods from the cPanel, under the mod manager.

Quick steps for installing mods!
Currently you have two options, Leather & Rust++ / Rust Essentials OR Oxides & all their plugins.
Leather = mod loader that has it's own mods (Rust++ & rust essentials)
Oxides = Mod loader with all it's mods (core, and all the plugins found on their website)
THEY CANNOT BOTH BE INSTALLED either you have Leather OR Oxide
You cannot install oxide plugins on a leatherLoader server. they will not work and likewise for Oxide and Rust++ / Rust essientials
After you decide on what you want to run, personally I like Rust++ so I'll describe that here
TURN OFF Server, click stop, wait 3-5 mins for it to completely shut down
Back up game save, go to the file manager, select the folders there hit zip, wait for it to complete.
>optionally download the zip and sort it
Go back to the control panel then got to the "Mod Manager"
Install Leather loader, click install on the far left on its row. Let it complete, then click the 'X' to close the install window.
Same thing with Rust++, personally I like to control the drop tables as well so install DropParty aslo
Finally start the server, I typically watch the console output for errors / crashing, the server will be ready to go when it states "Server Initialized"
Once you have confirmed that the mods have installed and loaded properly you now need to confirm them to your liking.
Shut down the server, Back up everything in the file manager again ( incase you break the configs)
Go to the Control Panel and then the to the Config File manager. I suggest copy pasting the entire file into a txt file on your computer as a backup. Make adjustments to the file, test them save them.
Once you have the settings as you want restart the server and be amazed at how awesome your server is.
If you have problems with the settings/configs post in their respective forum thread!
Do not make a new thread saying the mod broke your server as that's likely not true, most likely you broke it not the mod.
Side note, you'll need to do this sort of steps every time Rust devs update the game. Also chances are those updates will render most mods silight to completely dysfunctional.
