I think the term OP is only used by losers who expect to win all the time.
Oh boy, you're one of those people.

I assume then if the developers made a rock everyone spawns with that launches grenades and requires no ammo it wouldn't be "OP"?

My use of OP in the title was purely satirical.
You do realize you ARE the OP of this thread right

I really don't care if the whole story in the OP is a rant or not.

I support a change to the sleeping bag system. When I play, placing 20-30 bags down makes defending my place a bit too easy. I honestly really do think the system needs a bit of an update.

This card from Trello sounds like it should fix the problem pretty neatly:

Sleeping bags should reset all owned sleeping bags in a radius around you so you can't zerg

didn't read every single post, if you visit their development progress website at
    https://trello.com/b/lG8jtz6v/rust

You can see that resetting the spawn timer on sleeping bags within a radius of the one used has already been pushed to next version release.

End of thread just lock this please.....

what a good idea: have a few outside doors open for the sole purpose of trapping noobs. "ooOOoo, an open door!"
I did that when I had zombies under my floorboards. Left a path open to an empty box in a room with zombies underneath.

Part of my group was already working on getting explosives ready once I was locked in. Just didn't have enough time. It would have played out far different if they didn't have that many respawns available.
By your own account, you continue chasing them and got further entrapped. Your friends were planning to break how many doors to get you out?
I actually think sleeping bags should not be available as spawn point when a foe is less than N meters near them, but you deserve bit of your punished though.
