Post #1What are the drop rates? Can you find them in radiation zones, killing zombies? I have been trying to get this blueprint forever now. I have nothing else left to do. I have killed hundreds of zombies and still nothing. Any tips?

They definitely adjusted the drop rates to make M4s much more rare with this past update.
I had to practically live in the large civilian rad zone for 18 hours before I found a single M4.
I can confirm that they do still exist, but they are extremely rare.
I did not find an actual blueprint, but I found an M4 in a gun crate and researched it. :)

I don't know if there is any blueprints left for the M4 ... I've searched and searched .. but nothing .. I did as Thrax did, researched an M4 I found in a crate .. only way so far....
After 78 blueprints .. still nothing...

I think the spawning of empty weapon boxes has something to do with their adjustments too. They messed up.

I didn't count cases, zombies, boxes, or loot, but I literally farmed the large smokestack rad town for 18 hours before I got a single M4. I was convinced that they had been removed from the game.
MP5 and C4 blueprints seem non-existent as well...

Honestly not sure it's a mess up mate... Spawning empty crates in an area where it's pretty easy to get loot/upgrade gear and weapons, spawning empty crates make this a bit harder...
I like the way this happened .. f it's a bug or not... I really hope this stays on :D even tho I hate finding empty crates lol

yeah my friend too played like 3 days and he said he didin't found m4 blueprint i thinks its bug or maybe its very very rare now.

I've played for 90 Hours and have had to research every M4 I wanted :|

I think you can find them pretty easily

Kill someone who has one or trade for one. Someone traded 3 C4 for an M4 on my server.
