But still, VAC is pretty airtight, afaik. If you were, in-fact, wrongfully banned, then the ban will be lifted eventually.

I doubt any VAC Ban will be lifted for anyone.. False Positive or not.

They sometimes do unban for errors on theirs or the developers side. Very rare however and it does require more than one person bringing it up (read: 10k+) before they even look into it.

This is what happpened" This was on the night before the patch.

I was playing on the game rust with my friends and the server I was on was infested with hackers and me and my friends did not know this so we built a house in the back and while we were building and the hacker came up to me, If you give me a m4 I will go kill those hackers he said to me. So i did, He came back with blue prints and me and my friends just finished our base at the time he came back and I said" oh thank you for the blue prints" , I researched them and went to bed. I woke up vac banned.

I was not hacking, I love rust. In fact I support the game and I love how things are going in the game, VAC made a mistake.

English is not my first language, I don't cheat. I don't hack. I believe in fair game, I don't like to flame or troll. Only reason I posted this here was because I thought the bans where controlled by face punch because it said, Face punch vac ban.

This is my first ban in anything.

You'll be lucky. If you bothered to read about vac you would know it takes longer than a day for a vac ban to come in. You must have been doing something you shouldn't have before this. Also you don't get banned for giving a hacker an M4.

I have not been hacking and that's the only event in my head i can think of and I was banned closely after it.
I don't know how vac bans work. The guy was a anti hacker and he was killing the hackers by being one . I think VAC made a mistake:/

The infraction could've been anytime in the last like 6 weeks. The fact that it happened in-game is coincidental.

It's like running a traffic camera; the ticket arrives in the mail a week or two later, it's not waiting for you on your front step when you pull into your driveway 10 minutes after running the light.

Lastly, the fact that someone else using "coolmanyou1" is possible, just not on the same type of games and stuff as this guy. The speech pattern of sounding like a complete idiot sounds right on both posts too.

Yeah, Survivor Infestation Stories Deserves To Be Hacked In, It's a play ground and they deserve it.

Plus, Day Z and Arma doesnt have to be linked to steam anyways. Him getting banned off several things at once is his own fault. Man up and accept you using a hacking program, and apologize for a chance at getting unbanned. Honing up to your mistakes is more likely to work than trying to lie.

I did not hack the beautiful game of rust. it's sunset is magical and how could you hurt a game like that, Also it don't work like that grave prophet if i hacked I might as well not even try to appeal and do all this work to get myself unbanned because if you hacked, You deserve that ban hammer on your stunning profile.

So what they said above is pretty accurate, but there is some good from it aswell.



Fairfight is a statistic based anti cheat. Unlike anti cheats like AUC and Punkbuster, it goes off the stats that players put out. It tracks things like kills, accuracy, how often you hit/miss someone.



So hackers that aimbot people from 400m with M4s will eventually get banned once enough people report them and they look into the case of the kill.



The problem is, like stated above, people report everyone, so the number of cases they have is really slowing them down.
