I don't really think there is a way to make those low res models look better for me
Because that heretic model is pretty ugly in the first place

It's not the models. The lighting -is- bad. It also seems kinda bland with only like, 5 guys on the right. Even if you dupe a bunch of them, and then use SDOF on the front two guys would be x10 better.

Here's my own little tweak on it. I tried to help with your lighting situation (I know that map is hard to get the lighting right, I've tried before). May or may not like it, just kind of tried to even it out.

Effects of glowing and laser is too shitty, i dunno even how it possible to make something so bad in ps.
Posing seems too wry. Inquisitor broke his hand, cultist kinda makes a bow, all ragdolls scattered around in chaos.
I don't wanna even talk about warhammer desecration on this picture. World Eaters with Black Legion? Inquisitor side by side with guardsmen? Stop playing DOW and read at least rulebook of Dark Heresy. This is contains the most full information about Imperium that i know.

Oh well, you can't really expect perfection from me since I'm still practicing with effects like the laser

And from what I have read, inquisitors can bolster their strike forces with forces from the adeptus astarates, imperial guard, and officio assassitorum. Plus the storm troopers are inquisitorial storm troopers, even though they don't look like it due to the ones I the picture being their only model, so I at least tried. As for the chaos I guess that was a stupid idea to put the red guy in there. Oh well, trial and error. I'll try to improve on things that were pointed out, because I appreciate your criticism. Plus I'm still more or less a beginner with warhammer, so thanks for the suggestion.

Read the codices. They're straight from GW themselves. If you did, you would know Inquisitorial Stormtroopers exist.

I'm not really big specialist in Chaos, more about Imperium. I'm not remember what Legions were decomposed to the shit after Heresy, and what were not.

There was a marine labeled berserker in the SM pack so I went with what it said, even though it doesn't look exactly like one

the DoW2 pack has horrible shaders by the way, open all the texture .VMT files with Notepad and delete every line that says "$rimlight"

It'll make it look less like ass. I'd also recommend you delete anything to do with phong, since the specular maps were incredibly lazy if I recall.

For the record, you're showing quite a low knowledge of fluff as well.

a) inquisitors levy guard units or planetary PDF units all the time. And they have their own inquisitorial stormtrooper units
b) chaos is in no way unified and it's possible you'd find world eaters among the blacklegion. Admittedly this is even more likely a berzerker, who may have once been a world eater, but now goes where the blood flows the most.
