Nope. Multiplay gives no access to FTP whatsoever. I've tried both Multiplay and HFBServers and they both aren't very good, but at least Multiplay offers refunds. It took HFB about 12 hours to set up my server and after that I had to wait another day or two for them to fix it because nobody could connect. Now I'm just waiting for NFOServers to offer Rust servers.

Apparently our host has undergone a massive DDOS attack but our server has been wiped and is back online!

HFP allows FTP access, Multiplay does not.
And actually, now that the maintenance is done on the HFB TCAdmin, you can install Rust++ and Oxide with a bunch of mods with one-click installs. I read somewhere on the forum that Multiplay added this functionality as well.

HBF got nice FTP, but my main server under DDOS without any resolve from support.
I am offered to move my server to Quebec which is far... or Dallas for additional fee...

Yes I got the exact same spiel from them when mine got DDoS'ed... it IS obnoxious that they seem to be handing out canned responses but at least they get back to me decently quickly. The thing that really bothers me is that they NEVER actually ANSWER my questions in the tickets, but I get it, they have a lot of tickets to get through. :/

I spoke too soon. My HFB server is down.
Multiplay is up, though.
* - DISCLAIMER: This post represents my own experiences. I realize there are HFB fanboys who will be infuriated that I dared insult their favorite game host, but the fact remains that my HFB server has been unreachable for at least 12 cumulative hours since activation (NOT including the activation delay) while my Multiplay server has not.

Insulting the server provider doesn't do anything. The fact that they offer affordable servers beats out Multiplay in a nutshell in terms of price. DDoS protection may be favored with Multiplay, but honestly... even then it's not 110% secure, and the same goes for HFB.
HFB also offers FULL FTP ACCESS and has a nice little button for installing mods, so mod support is enabled.
Multiplay offers a damn ticket system which is annoying, since it's based on THEIR time, not yours... when you're the one paying for it.
I'm sorry, Multiplay is a good provider as well, but their lack of support in terms of configuration and ability to manage your server is a huge red flag when it comes to server hosting.
If I own a server, I want FULL FTP access and configuration ability. Not some half-assed ticket system regardless of if it takes 15 minutes or not. In those 15 minutes I could have my server set-up, managed, and ready to go. Game over.

That fact that you consider this "insulting the provider" and not "posting my experiences" tells all.
If I rent a server, I want it to be up. FTP access doesn't do me any good if the server is down, now does it?

While Multiplay do not currently provide FTP we will be adding the ability for one click installs for mods most likely by the end of the week. We have about 50 servers running Oxide at the moment for testing as we like to error on the side of caution and make sure everything is working before throwing it out into the wild. Hopefully folks will understand this and see the value.
