First let me say that this is by far the best mod I've come across yet, compiling all those great features and functions into one single, tested and stable package :)

Can't seem to post new tickets in trello for requests though, so I'll do it here:

If not already in safezone mechanic (couldn't test yet)
    - Editable decay for whole server, zones, players (on/off and timer)
    - No destruction in zones (e.g. can't blow up walls, ...)
    - Also zones that can be no decay, but still PvP

    - Economy (configurable, regarding the aquisiton of money from kills, etc.)

    - Player Remove Tool: Make also other user placed items removeable. Add config so admin can decide on what items can be removed and how much they'll yield back.

    - One-time PvP protection for new players, gets auto removed when attacking player/structure

    - Limited Sleepers

    - Report system using Steam bots and/or in-game tickets

    - Denying foundations to be placed on crates, etc.

    - Base attack alarm in-game and email

    - Remove starter rock automatically, in case better item is equipped

    best regards,
    daZza

Essentials is a stand alone now, you do not need to install Leatherloader anymore.

PvP Zones: Decay isn't adjustable yet in them, but you cannot destroy items in zoned areas.

Economy: Possibly coming in a future update

Player remove tool: Added this patch, and admin can choose if players get back items or not. Also, items that are gained back are adjusted via what tool they use to destroy the foundation/wall etc. (stone hatchet gives back more but takes longer to destroy foundation, pickaxe gives back less but takes less time)

Not sure on the rest of those. I'll talk to Mista when this weekend about them, and see what he thinks.

Bashiba I had exactly the same problem. To solve:

Download and install Packages redistribuables Visual C++:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=40784 (vcredist_x86.exe)

Download and install and your all good.

As far as I know, and as a mod developper too, I doubt MistaD actually support pirated server. That may be why your server isn't working at time ;)

Well, the thing is that you aren't paying for a server, so your thing isn't always up-to-date. MistaD just released an update for his mod to fit the new Rust patch aswell. So, you have an outdated server and you are trying to apply an updated mod. It won't work. Anyway, I'll let MistaD & Mack7n explain it themselves if they wish.

    Have a good day !

Is there an indepth readme somewhere that shows up all the possibilities?

Before I install I've still got some questions that I couldn't find answers to in Trello or the OP, especially about the group / faction / ally system.

What possibilities / bonuses you have with one? Can you share your doors, etc. to the group? Friendly fire, ...

Also can you set a cooldown on tpa so that people can't abuse it to raid, etc. ?

    Edited:

If you know C# to at least an intermediate degree, sure. Add me on steam.
Unfortunately no :( I thought that you'd code in LUA or JS (as both the other Modding Frameworks), as I did some work with these a while back. I'm also pretty decent in Java and VB, but never touched the C family :D

Anyway, if the day should come where you suddenly need a tester or something don't hesitate to contact me :P

Factions provide the ability to negate friendly fire, notify who you hit by accident, and allow for the allying of other factions. At the moment, factions do not carry land claiming and will not until they implement procedural map generation. In the future, factions will also be able to handle 15+ factions along with leaderboards for factions. Things such as faction banks and door sharing for the faction is another thing I can consider.

Yes, you can set the cooldown for tpa - you can even set it to be a cooldown for all people or per person. This is what I mean:
    Player #1 /tpa's to Player #2
    Player #2 /tpaccept's
Immediately, the cooldown for Player #1 kicks in.
If it is set to all players, player #1 cannot /tpa to anyone at all until the cooldown is over.
If, however, the cooldown is set to per person, player #1 can /tpa to anyone else but player #2 until the cooldown is complete.

Also, some insight: the modding APIs known as Magma and Oxide ARE made in C#. However, they utilize and/or manipulate libraries that translate the JS and LUA code into C# assembly. As I haven't decided what language to do an API in yet, the only thing people can alter my plugin with is C#.

    Edited:

Also, I forgot to mention that I changed the starter rock spawning so that it will no longer spawn in your inventory as long as you have another melee weapon.

Thanks for the info. Seeing the BigBrother thingy on Trello, is there currently a way to log to a file? I would be specially interested in death handling, i.e. if a player kills another one.

Would be great to have some solid proof to ban spree killers from the server, etc.

BigBrother would be logging way too much to be written to files... I think? Currently, the only way you can tell if someone kills another is in the essentialsChat log.

It's great. And all those comments and examples in the code :) Coding myself I know that's not what to be expected :)

Just setting all the configs and tables right now... I don't have to use "" to escape strings?

Edit: Sorry to bother you again :/

Just made my way to the crafting restrictions and found this example:

    [Blueprint Restrictions]
    Kevlar Vest

Is this example correct, or should it rather be this?

That error has always been inconsistent. I've never been able to replicate it on my own account. Then again, I don't have a player base on my test server - so network lag and desync might be the culprit. Maybe a rust thing?

Essentials no longer needs LeatherLoader! Credit to R++ for indirect guidance!
Rust Essentials is the all around (all you need) mod for Rust. In the future we plan on working with other developers to make Rust Essentials more intuitive.

    - Mirror 1 (OpenRust) (1.7.0)
    - Mirror 2 (CDN) (1.7.0)

    Installation:
    1. Download RustEssentials from the link above.
    2. Extract RustEssentials.zip into the "rust_server_Data" folder. (If it asks to overwrite make sure to click yes.)
    3. Launch the server! *

    * With the first launch of the server, all needed configuration files are created in the /mod/RustEssentials folder.

Hello! I installed this mod on my server! But I can not use /remove! can you tell me how to release the players to use it? Thank you!
There are two commands. /remove and /remover. These commands are activated by on/off ex. /remove on

The remover tool for players has a few limitations per mistad:

    1. Only works on objects you own
    2. Only works on foundations, pillars, and ceilings (on or off for each via the config)
    3. Different tools return different amounts of items
and do different amounts of damage
    4. Only works on objects that cannot be naturally removed (Pillars, Ceilings, Foundations).
It will not remove walls stairs etc.

The allCommands.ini is a really helpfully file it explains the function and syntax of all the commands.

Feel free to pm me for more help or post your commands.ini. You have added /remover to the player rank and activated it right? Also you can adjust the settings in config.ini

Thank you for taking your time to make such an elegant website. It's a good thing us tool providers are around for subprogress to be made. I do have a request though, do you think you could have the get request return a 2 if a a set request was sent for a UID (0 = did not vote; 1 = voted, has not redeemed; 2 = voted, has redeemed)?

    Hey guys:

Lately, I've seen a large population of rust players, server admins, and server owners that are uninformed about RustEssentials. A majority of them either don't know what it is, where it came from, what's in it, etc. And, as I barely ever ask for a favor back, I was wondering if you guys could majorly assist me in creating an informative wiki about the mod. Since I, myself, don't have time to dedicate to a wiki page (you guys already know how late I stay up in the mornings every night - hell I got a B on my midterms cause I stayed up too late and was too tired to focus on testing day), I really need you guys to help me out and spread the word of the plugin. Out of all of the scenarios I've gone against, the two that pop up the most are "What is Essentials?" and "I know what it is, but I've never used it." Of the people that know what the mod is but have never used it, a small but advisable population don't understand what the mod holds in store - the possibilities. I'm not trying to sound like a biased asshole (which I probably am), but I think a wiki page would help us all out. Hell, who wouldn't like to know all ends of the mod?

This is all I ask for: a favor in the form of a gift meant for giving back.
I've pushed myself to help you - now I ask that you help me out in return.

I'm having trouble on my server with the owner/administration options. I was able to have it working earlier with me as an admin/owner, but when i went to add someone else as an admin, i know have a message saying that none of us have access or permission to do certain things. I'm confused because earlier i was able to do so! What is going on? did i code something wrong? I used filezilla and connected to it with the FTP while the server was up and restarted and still nada.
