I had this issue with the same provider with ONLY Rust Essentials installed. The console had errors spamming out the ass but a restart seemingly "fixed" it so people could join.

not sure if this is possible but could there be a add tool? That lets u spawn AI like bears and zombies etc. Could have some fun admin events etc with this.

I noticed that when joining a server it still shows [RANK]<Playername> has joined the server. This is after changing the following line to:
removePrefix=true
Other than disabling the join message. Is there a way to remove that prefix when you join?

Maxwell, open up config.INI and change enable whitelist to true. Then in whitelist.txt or what ever, add your steamid64.

Is there any known way to restrict research/crafting of an item? I just come over to Essentials from Oxide (tired of the steady LUA errors and crashing), but the 1 big mod I used in Oxide was Crafting Controller. We have the ability to create Explosives (the Gel) blocked, and it's very crucial to our server set up. If I can't get this to work with Essentials, I'm going to be forced to go back to Oxide. :-(

I'm interested in restricting crafting, as well as altering crafting part requirements. The goal is to create a more "lost technology" environment on my Rust server.
Are any of these kind features included in Rust Essentials or planned for the near future?

It's because you are running a cracked rust server. You cannot run rust Essentials with cracked servers at the moment, sorry man.

I noticed that limited sleepers is turned on while playing my server. How would i go about to turn that off?

Mack, Rust caught me at a bad time. I'm currently in the middle of a huge bug fix and feature update, so I'm working double time trying to do everything at once right now.

Don't install the Managed files and rebake the maindata, you will get it to work partially. Door share won't work but the admin commands still work save the remove feature.

yes, from Oxide (which crashes every other command) I had Essentials for 2 days, and loved it. Now i'm lost, using Oxide again, and having to log/relog every 5minutes to do anything.

I'm in Mack's boat. I really enjoy the stability of Essentials.This is a nice compromise btwn Oxide and Rust++. I was JUST ABOUT to start re-living my Oxide config nightmare, but I thought I'd check here first. Rust++ was easy to get going and seemingly stable, but it just doesn't cut the mustard at the moment.
Is there an emoticon for chomping at the bit?
