    Well with it installed on console and commands don't work, and tickets wont help its your files if you think it supposed to work, but it don't. So much for support here and with fpsservers(no help w/tickets) with a broken server( mods don't work on fpsplayers.com on my server)

    u can reinstall under the action tab. save your userdata file wait for the update dont put essentials on yet

    - Added a remover tool (deletes structure or AI entities upon hit)

    If i had to educationally guess it is probably a admin only tool that when enabled allows you to hit/shoot things such as pillars and foundations and they will be destroyed/removed. That is what i had in mind when i requested it. It is possible mistad has gone above and beyond but i imagine that is the jist of it.

    - Fixed chat not working if Assembly-CSharp.dll is out of date
    - Added factions. Still a work in progress. Much more to be fixed and added to it.
    - Shooting teammates within the same faction will bring up a "friendly fire" notice and not deal damage
    - Factions have a limit of 15 people (for now)
    - Added /r for quick replies to last PM sent/received
    - Added /fall {on/off} (server-wide fall damage)
    - Re-enabled plugin-side door sharing and /tpa
    - Added /tpa cancellation if either players are hit
    - Added /remove on/off (will delete any AI or structure entity upon hit)
    - Added customizeable voice chat distance in Config
    - Fall damage can now be set in config file and through /fall
    - Fixed ALL formatting issues with logs in Notepad++
    - Fixed logs not deleting properly
    - Fixed /reload kits not reloading correctly for kits with cooldowns
    - Fixed /heal not actually updating the target's UI
    - Fixed steam group whitelist not working properly
    - Fixed syntax in allCommands.
    - Changed allCommands.ini to allCommands.txt
    - Added help info for the new commands

    They have but it will ruin your server.

    Here is what I was asked to do:

    1. Stop your server
    2. Go to mods and uninstall any mods if any are installed
    3. Go to the file manager and navigate to rust_server_Data, then delete the file mainData
    4. Then run the steam update
    5. You will then need to go to mods and then install the mod you want to use again (if you're running Rust++ or Rust Essentials please read additional steps before starting your server)
    6. That's it start your server and the mod should load fine.

    ADDITIONAL STEPS
    ---------------------------------
    a ) If you're running Rust++ before starting your server click on the button for "Furnace Patcher" and then once that's complete use the "Rust++ Patcher". You may then start your server.
    b) If you want to run Rust Essentials you will just need to run the "Furnace Patcher" before starting the server.


    What happens then is your server is NOT accessible at all. Nothing, no connect, zilch.

    So you then have to uninstall the mod AGAIN but it leaves all the information in the /save/Rust Essentials folder.

    What this then means is you are too late - you just borked ALL security codes on ALL doors back to no access. The ONLY person who can open a door is whoever initially placed it.

    Imagine this on a server with hundreds of doors all in shared builds - everyone logs on and cannot get out.

    I've been waiting since 7.39am this morning (GMT) for a response but we've basically just had to carry on and re-input all the codes.

    Nightmare.

    TBH, this type of door sharing is a lot better than the games way. There is also a command that greatly helps admins when investigating possible issues.

    Awesome mistad, thanks for all the work you guys put in. Really looking forward to watching the factions features develop. Some sort of better player identification at distance would be the icing on the cake for me!

    Same thing for me.. they have not gotten back to my ticket either.. i even tried a fresh wipe and it did not work

    In addition to this, whitelisting doesn't work at all.. Enabled, with no entries it, and anyone can get in (testing w/ a friend). Time to move hosts (again), or try a different mod I guess.

    Whitelisting DOES work - I had to add myself to Whitelist to joing my server - and Im Master Admin. Problem is then NONE of the Rust++ commands work. I shut down, back up'd files, re installed - and I can function again - only without Whitelisting......

    I really want Whitelisting. Tired of the Azz Hats.

    Whitelisting if offered now with Rust++ 1.5, you can rely on that or uninstall Rust++ and use Essentials which offers Whitelisting aswell. But running both mods is asking for troubles.

    The choice is up to you, both are good mods :)

    Agreed. I'm looking into what's going on. I did everything on two of my boxes and the server is running just fine. It may just be HFB and a few other GSPs? No idea.

    i *think* now that we are standalone, you could potentially run rust++ with rust essentials, however you would only be able to provide the hooks to one of them, and rust++ wont run without hooks, so if essentials can run without hooks, the door sharing etc could run through rust++ and you should still be able to use most stuff on essentials. don't hold me to that though

    everything works just fine with me i just uninstalled rust essentials from mod manager and deleted all config and restart
    VOILA!

    thanks for factions :) just a little suggestions probably you already tought of it or planned for it but /f help or something so people have all subcommands
    and are we able to set 2 motd at different intervals lets say 1 every 30 mins and the other one lets say every 2 hours or something

    youll are both incorrect. I just did testing on both Rust++, and Rust Essentials. On HFB and FPS and they are both running like a dream!!!!

    Depending on if you are not wanting to use your old files got to

    and either
    1st : Back up or wipe server files needed, Depending on what exactly you are trying to erase : World data, user data, or full Wipe.
    2nd: Shut your server down.
    3rd: Uninstall the mods. (If you have configured any of those files yet. PLEASE back up your text info for your config files.)
    4th: Update steam using built in client in HFB control Panel
    5th: Once update! install the new version of the mods you are wanting to use.
    6th: Configure or Paste in your old config info.
    7th: Start your server.

    everything should work fine. i just did both mods on 2 dif GSP and had no trouble.

    I am here to Help! please ask away if this does not fix your problem. Ill be keeping an eye on the post.

    I did all this. Exactly. Multiple times. And it still does not work. Probably going to go back to Oxide and a different GSP
