    I don't know how one would go about doing this, but my server uses both the drop mod and the rust++ mod, and it's still in the community list.

    Maybe it's because I don't use it to increase things, but to decrease them.

    There is a very old (it was only up for a few hours after Leather released) version of leather that doesn't add you to the modded list. A new version of Leather will be coming out in the next few weeks which adds a ton of new featuers and lays the groundwork for more security features for game server providers. So most leather mods are going to update to require that new version and from that point on my guess is that everyone will be in the modded tab.

    It is not my intent that anyone who's running mods will be able to get out of the modded tab, because that's dishonest to your players. The good news is I think as more mods come out and modding becomes a bigger and bigger part of play, the modded tab will become the more popular of the two and there will be no downside to being listed there. But that's not going to work as long as some popular modded servers are living outside the modded tab.

    You could do this by removing this line:

    Rust.Steam.Server.SetModded();
    from LeatherLoader and from any plugin that you have that also has that line in it.

    It would be a little lengthy to do all that, but it is possible.

    Your making a very large assumption with that comment. I'm not trying to be dishonest to anyone. It's just in my opinion i haven't added any game changing mod's to warrant being part of the modded tab. The core features and settings are still default but with mod's that have made the game more functional and better for those who play in my server.

    On a lighter note thank you for what you are doing for the Rust community. The mod's you are providing are making Rust a much better game indeed.

    its dishonest to have a modded server show as a unmodded. and should stay that way.

    Bump! I want some moderators on my server but thats only possible with mods. Im not intrested in stupid things like starter kits or anything else that changes the gameplay. So why does my server have to be in the modded tab for that?

    Garry requires us mod developers to abide by our unwritten regulations and morals. One of them being that we must mark modded servers as modded. Anything outside the regular conditions of vanilla is considered modded.

    The only way you can have moderators on a vanilla unmodded server is to give them rcon access (so make sure you fully trust those admins that you want) other than that, any mod that you have installed will add you to the modded tab.

    There's a program called "Rusty" that gives you many options and makes being an Admin on a vanilla server much easier. But even with Rusty, they will need to have Rcon access. So once again, choose wisely.
