Are you one of those players who hates playing with sleepers on, but is tired of combat logging? Why not have the best of both worlds? Limited Sleepers allows you to turn sleepers on, but adds a configurable timer that starts ticking when you log out. When time is up, your sleeper saves back out to your avatar and it's as though you were playing on a no-sleepers server to begin with! Limited Sleepers is a Leather mod, so it's compatible with Rust++, DropParty, VACuum, and others!
So how do you get started?
Install Leather:
1. Shut down your server.
2. Download leather: http://www.mediafire.com/download/fj...Loader-1.1.zip
3. Download furnace: https://www.mediafire.com/?8v5si150obj4poe
4. Go into your server via FTP or file manager or whatever you've got. You should have an accessible Rust_Server_data folder, so navigate into it.
5. Upload the contents of LeatherLoader.zip to this folder.
6. Download the file entitled mainData (YOU SHOULD PROBABLY BACK THIS UP OR SOMETHIN) and drop it into a folder by itself with the contents of Furnace.zip.
7. Run Furnace.exe to "cook" mainData into something leathery that runs mods!
8. Upload your cooked mainData over the old one.
That was tough, but now it's easy to install mods! By the way, quick note: as long as Leather is installed, your server will mark itself as "Modded".
Install Limited Sleepers:
1. Download Limited Sleepers: http://www.mediafire.com/download/h1...eepers-1.1.zip
2. Create a "mods" folder in Rust_Server_data if it doesn't already exist, and drop the contents of LimitedSleepers.zip into it.
3. Limited Sleepers defaults to a 15-minute logout timer, but if you want to change that, go into Rust_Server_data/mods/config/LimitedSleepers.cfg and edit the value. It can be as low as one minute, and as high as you want!
You should restart your server! Now you're all set to get the best of both worlds: just make sure that you have sleepers turned ON.
