Are you one of those players who hates playing with sleepers on, but is tired of combat logging? Why not have the best of both worlds? Limited Sleepers allows you to turn sleepers on, but adds a configurable timer that starts ticking when you log out. When time is up, your sleeper saves back out to your avatar and it's as though you were playing on a no-sleepers server to begin with! Limited Sleepers is a Leather mod, so it's compatible with Rust++, DropParty, VACuum, and others!

So how do you get started?

    Install Leather:
    1. Shut down your server.
    2. Download leather: http://www.mediafire.com/download/fj...Loader-1.1.zip
    3. Download furnace: https://www.mediafire.com/?8v5si150obj4poe
    4. Go into your server via FTP or file manager or whatever you've got. You should have an accessible Rust_Server_data folder, so navigate into it.
    5. Upload the contents of LeatherLoader.zip to this folder.
    6. Download the file entitled mainData (YOU SHOULD PROBABLY BACK THIS UP OR SOMETHIN) and drop it into a folder by itself with the contents of Furnace.zip.
    7. Run Furnace.exe to "cook" mainData into something leathery that runs mods!
    8. Upload your cooked mainData over the old one.

That was tough, but now it's easy to install mods! By the way, quick note: as long as Leather is installed, your server will mark itself as "Modded".

    Install Limited Sleepers:
    1. Download Limited Sleepers: http://www.mediafire.com/download/h1...eepers-1.1.zip
    2. Create a "mods" folder in Rust_Server_data if it doesn't already exist, and drop the contents of LimitedSleepers.zip into it.
    3. Limited Sleepers defaults to a 15-minute logout timer, but if you want to change that, go into Rust_Server_data/mods/config/LimitedSleepers.cfg and edit the value. It can be as low as one minute, and as high as you want!

You should restart your server! Now you're all set to get the best of both worlds: just make sure that you have sleepers turned ON.

Nice plugin, about to test it out now. Is there any way we could get a source?

    I need a short hint:

I want to use all mods (rust++/dropparty, VACcum/limited Sleepers).

Can you explain me, where I have to copy all the diffent file?

the config.cfg? The same as the mods are in? Or have all cfg-Files copy in a dir called /mod/config/?
The dropparty/config dir is full of cfg-files? Where I have to copy the cfg-Files from limited-sleepers in the same config-dir as dropparty?

A simple comprehension question, to stop overloading my directory of the rust-server.

    Thanks for the answer!

Limited Sleepers 1.1 is out! This adds Leather 1.1 compatibility, and loads the Limited Sleepers config file from the leather-designated config folder. Please don't attempt to use this version without reading this: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1347160

I think you could have an "WOW" option, in which you are allowed to stay logged until that time has passed.

Yeah, it hasn't needed an update since 1.1. It works fine with the latest.

Im with fps and this mod doesn't work on my server. I've sent in several tickets and they have no idea why it doesn't work. When installed I cannot get into config. it just never opens. FPS finally tested it out on a test server and found that they could not enter the config either.

Really too bad as I'd love to use this mod.

FPSPlayers doesn't know why they can't access the config file on their own servers? That's a new one.

EDIT: do you mind if i use your source code as reference material when i post a request on oxide website?

Sleepers.on must be true, yes, or there will never be a sleeper to remove!

Uh, no, I haven't heard of the mod making people invisible. All it does is after a player has been logged out for a certain amount of time, it removes their sleeper just like how it happens when they log back in.

Could you post your output log/web console contents to verify that it's actually being loaded up?
