So, as you all know, most games in Alpha/Beta give out items to make you stand out in game, what do you all think the Rust Admins/Creators should give us to help everyone that spent $20 to stand out ingame?

*Examples*
WoW/Rift-Custom Mounts
LoL- Champion Skins

I don't really care for cosmetics and I don't feel we are entitled to anything like that anyway, World of Warcraft never had any custom mounts for beta participants by the way. Rift had it for people who bought the CE.

What you listed as examples were more along the lines of "cash shiny" I don't remember getting a mount for beta testing World of Warcraft. Buying the collector edition yes... but not beta.

Most games that tip there hat at beta testers hand out titles or ranks and sometimes a shiny item that is the same as what you start with but a different look or something just for show.

People who got in this game early did just that, you gave them some cash to help out in the development of the game and you get to get in on the ground floor. Your "playing" is helping to make this game. Some day down the line....WAY down the line... if thy really think we need a pat on the head then we may get one. Who knows you may start with a gold rock one day.

Seriously, without knowing what the final 'feel' of the game's environment is going to be, it's hard to say.
Standing out might not be a good idea, especially if your special thing can get looted/wiped.

No offense, but they would probably reward the people who were there in very early testing, (june-october-ish) moreso than the ones who recently joined.

For alpha testers, we should all be given an extra 5 inventory slots that can hold items without losing them after being killed.

To be honest I'm just glad to be playing this game sooner than those who don't play it until it's been released and after, that itself is a great gift.
