    Well, this is the first time I've ever had the problem, and I've used IE for 15 years.
    I ran into the same thing. I've been having more issues with IE now than Chrome. Chrome works fine :-\ Anyways, HFB says my server is running, but I can't connect after installing this? Getting an "Object reference" error. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Ninja edit: Same as gambit above. Did anyone save the original DLL file? I forgot to back that one up :-\ I backed up maindata though.

    Getting an "Object reference" error.
    Ignore that part, it will always show that when there's a connection failure of some kind, whether the server refused the connection, timed out, couldn't authenticate, etc etc... the important information is in the error just before it (in this case, a simple ConnectionFailed).

    Have you checked the port etc is the same? Maybe you overwrote a config file somewhere which dictates that? Assuming you're using a copy-pasted net.connect line.

    Also, I'm really excited about these mod developments :D Sucks that I need to sleep now... but come the morning it's Rust all the way baby ;)

    You dont have to. It worked for me with 1.2 well - it works with 1.3 too but only without the .dll :D
    Maybe I should switch the hoster..

    I dont think its a Rust++ thing, because my server also crashed since yesterday evening without installing a new rust++ version.
    The server hoster does a roll back but the server still crashes. Just my experience

    Just did a steam update, which made my server show back up. I'll report back if it works now.

    EDIT: This fixed it. Run the steam update, then redo your maindata and such. Works just fine :-) Thanks!

    I can confirm that it will, check your airdrop interval in the .cfg

    It is set to 20, that is in milliseconds, convert whatever timer you want it to have to milliseconds, or you can set it to false. Then you will be able to startup.

    I think there is a bug:

    notice_enabled=true // if you want to enable server notices popping up
    notice_interval=900000 // time in milliseconds, how often do you want to spam your server with this notice? (i recommend 15 minutes (900000 milliseconds) minimum)
    notice_messages_amount=3 // amount of messages displayed, configured below

    With this configuration it spam the whole time each 30 sec the notice and didn't stop!

    Is it possible to stop the spam after 3 times?

    So I redid everything, and now I can't connect to the server. When I uploaded the .dll file, it said success, but it also said it already existed, so I'm not sure if it overwrote it or not.

    After modifying the rust++ config file how I'd want it anyway, it seems to work just fine, so the problem seems to be in your default settings.

    Edit: Also getting the notice spam though, like others, while set at 1800000.
