For the ones who cry fowl over the addition of a scope, I can already shoot things with a great deal of success from really far away with the Bolt Action. I've had a few headshots, I've killed animals that are chasing nakeds, and I've killed tons of zombies for sport when they were nothing more than a dot on the screen because they were so far.

They don't need to increase the range or power of the weapon and they don't need to add some 12x super scope (though I wouldn't mind that!). I would be very happy with a 4x ACOG scope or something around that.

This is a survival game where you're supposed to fear death. Not knowing whether you're being tracked by a sniper adds a whole new layer of suspense to an already stellar game.

Also, most people don't realize that server admins (like myself) are capable of adjusting pretty much everything through RCon and mods. You can join servers that allow them or don't. You can join servers right now that don't allow any military weapons! So there will always be servers that cater to everyone's preferred play style.

For clarity is that because is that because you think its thematically wrong or because you don't want it to have a sight...? Your ire is ambiguous.

I'd personally love if the bolt action had a peep sight like the old-time western style lever action guns (i.e. the Cowboy Repeater in Fallout: New Vegas.) Reduce the sway a bit compared to where it is, and also now the gun is suddenly even more difficult to use simply because you lose so much of your vision.

Max, can we expect to see any more bow weapons in the future? I posted earlier that the only scoped weapon should be a powerful, but slow crossbow, and I actually would really like to see something like this.
