So, I went pretty far away from any living being and went somewhere that only has trees and a big empty field. Will resources spawn there time by time? Or should I move elsewhere?

Need to know this quick or I'll starve to death with all the loot I've gathered. :D

I'm pretty sure after a while stuff will spawn, feel free to build a home there.

No they won't be any resources. What you can do is stay there, go farm somewhere else(without loosing yourself) and bring back to your base. Building a house far away of everything has the advantage to not getting raid all the time.
