    Ummm get a better computer if you are seriously playing with 10 FPS. The lowest I have ever dipped is 40 FPS and thats with a cluster F*** ton of player made buildings during a gun fight.

    Also sway is definitely needed. It's too easy to just use a Crosshair Overlay or Bluetact your screen right now. This "helps" prevent it....at least somewhat; the sway isn't drastic by any means.
    The Unity Engine is not the greatest of engines for gaming, plus Rust itself is far from optimized. Do a little research on the forums here and you'll find people with beast machines, that suffer low framerates, and others who have mid range / low range machines who get decent framerates. The game's performance is all over the spectrum.

    Great patch already !

    My priority 1 whishlist

    Nerf research kits - they can be used over and over again so all players in a group can learn everything
    5 digit number code locks for metal doors (or similar) - so doors can be shared amoung a group
    Remove C4 from researchable/craftable items and make it only rarespawn - my suggestion for the known problem :)
    Reduce accuracy from guns and bows - give other players a chance
    make windows smaller so they have a purpose but do not endanger your building by people entering through them ...

    Just my whishlist

    Priority 10 :)

    Thanks to everyone in the Rust team for this update, and Thanks helk for bringing us the "patch notes"! :D

    I realy hope that you guys manage to finish the research kit's charges, and that there will be a full wipe!

    I assume "lazy aim" is the same as what they call "floating zone" in ArmA.

    So essentially it means your weapon isn't always pointed exactly at the center of your screen. (a good way to stop people from putting makeshift crosshairs on their screens)

    I think the sway should be lil worse with the sprint button as "steady" or "hold breath" when you ADS (iron sights)

    Hey so since you guys are nearly settling the makeshift weapons, are you going to make c4, Kevlar and m4s uncraftable and only obtainable in airdrops or some sort?

    Ugh; I thought this was a "brutal survival game" automatic reloads seem like the idea of making a panicked player able to keep shooting rater than missing the reload (which I've done and died because of) defeats at least some of the brutality I keep reading about and affords more traditional "FPS" style action. Yes?

    Germany 1 is up... It's been up. How did you miss the whole reason why this topic is here? Helk stated that Germany 1 is on Developer. Switch your rust to Developer mode via beta in the settings and then launch the game after it updates and you will find Germany 1

    totally disagree, 500 gunpowder aint too hard, alot of sulfur etc which all in all is easy to obtain, not forgetting loot drops, zombies crates usually have tons. hopefully it will make wasting ammo on naked ppl more of a burden than what you gain off them

    it still doesn't make any sense to nerf guns/ammo/armour to please the bambi's because that just makes the gap between geared and naked even greater = more whining.

    I liked it how it was, Devs always trying to make the awesome game that they envision, A hardcore survival game. Then all the bambi's cry and break the game and then find the next new game to break with they're crying.

    Devs need to factor in that for every 1 player that says "no its good that way it is" there is 50 others that are too busy playing to be bothered posting (and why would they).

    Maybe they should make a vote window open upon exit/start of game. And vote to keep/change stuff. even then you'd only change if the vote for change was 70% or greater.

    Funny that I play with 13 different people (not all at the sametime) and none of us have any issues running Rust; with the oldest computer in the group being a premade Best Buy computer that is just about 5 years old and the newest being a week old custom made BEAST. So that a pretty wide variety of computers, people, internet connection, etc and none of us have problems.

    Yeah I know the game isn't fully optimized properly, but if you are running at 10 FPS it's more then likely something on your side and not the games side. Are you playing at max settings? Are you playing with grass on?

    same here i have the code for steam from dev page, i change the game to devmode i try to enter the code and says its invalid.. and can't enter in any server too, normal or devmode.. :(

    I think the problem is that there are huge areas of land with zero resource nodes. Now while I don't think everyone should be able to just walk two feet to have access to everything I also think it's a bad idea to design the map so 100 people need to go to a limited area of the map. Everytime me and my buddies go node gathering we have to fight through what seems like half the population of the server. With the nerf on ammo requirements it's going to quickly get to the point where you break even on resources gained vs lost fighting.

    What I'd like to see in an update would be an expansion to the node map so instead of a battle royal each day for a few nodes we can try to limit them to skirmishes between 1-3 groups of people instead of 7+.

    I really like the increase of headshot damage. Possible 1hit kill with the new bolt action?

    We're not really nerfing anything, we're just making the uber items harder to get, and ammo harder to make. If you play the game for more than an couple hours when is the last time you thought to yourself " Man, I'm really low on ammo! "

    P.s. the auto reload was stupid so I changed it to play a dry fire sound

    This post means its more likely there will be a wipe. As soon as people see this they'll be going batshit on grenades, ammo and Kevlar.

    how to you change to developer mode? this would have been helpful to post originally since there are new players from when the game just hit steam...

    Sounds to me like you need to find another server to play on. Or build a new home, or make guns and kill them yourself. There are so many options that don't involve getting on the forum to complain about a game that isn't even close to finished.

    This is exciting, I hope it goes live soon or well at least when Steam gets their act together vis a vis the connection issue.

    I very much approve about the ammo change, maybe people won't be quite so trigger-happy if ammo is slightly more dear.
