    Hopefully some more to come by tomorrow (research changes)

    This should be up on the Dev server (Germany 1) in an hour or so.. if all goes well we will make the patch live tomorrow

    FYI, if you're on the development branch and you update, Germany 1 will be the only server you will be able to join, you have been warned!

    //Fixed Metal Doors not setting their rotation properly
    //Shelters can be placed closer together than they used to be able to
    //Grenades have a smaller radius, do less damage, and are harder to craft
    //Resource nodes respawning should no longer cause server-wide lag
    //Deployables placed on inside (new) shelters should no longer destroy when the shelter is destroyed
    //Added some missing death effects for shelters and doors
    //Should be easier to squeeze sleeping bags into shelters now
    //Spike walls can be placed closer together, you can overlap them a little bit now to seal gaps easier
    //You can now right click to rotate structures for the one guy without a mousewheel :D
    //Servers can now specify a minimum amount of players for airdrops to occur ( default 40 )
    //Fixed shotguns not damaging deployables
    //Fixed some serverside performance issues
    //Fixed explosive charges not dealing direct damage to structure components - They will now deal their damage regardless of their position relative to what they are placed directly on
    //Fixed explosions doing too much damage to things with compound colliders (shelters namely)
    //Fixed weapon animations while aiming for some weapons (Shotgun)
    //Kevlar is harder to produce
    //Increased headshot damage multiplier
    //Added Bolt Action Rifle
    //Weapons reload automatically if you try and fire them empty
    //Added aim sway to some weapons, experimental
    //Added a small 'lazy aim' cone for weapons
    //Made ammo much harder to craft
    //You can place stuff on the road now

    The bolt action rifle is so good it was added twice ;)

    No combo doors yet (was the first thing I looked for). Here is hoping for the next patch.

    aim sway is gonna hurt but that all sounds quite lovely

    wouldnt mind being able to fix my griefed house though.... freaking ceilings

    Hey can you guys add the ambient noises back into the game....really killed the suspense when you removed em. Nice update though, looking forward to it!

    I don't know if its just me but I liked the fact that i had to manually reload, it just seemed more realilistic and added a bit of tension, just a thought... awesome update all around, love this game

    Any idea when pillars will be destroyable? Some asshats that raided us built wood pillars where they destroyed a wall, making it impossible to rebuild..

    Any idea when pillars will be destroyable? Some asshats that raided us built wood pillars where they destroyed a wall, making it impossible to rebuild..
    yea, the griefing available and occurring in the game right now is absurd, i personally would prefer a fix to that over new content

    Go to where your game is located in Steam.
    Right click - > Properties.
    Betas tab.
    Click the drop down box and choose Dev.

    If the make pillars destroyable then people will start exploiting it and start making floating houses.

    good point. I think using a radius of your foundations would be good. meaning you can only build on or near a foundation if you giver permission.

    After 5 days no activity they despawn anyway so shouldnt clog the servers up.

    Can we assume that there will be a wipe on at least the Offical Servers when the patch goes live? Seeing the changes to crafting Kevlar and such, people that already have Kevlar crafted would have a huge advantage over people who are just starting to craft it (and I am someone who has a descent amount of Kevlar already crafted).

    No.. Ye havent. Not yet, at least. If I'm reading this right then the costs for ammunition will simply go up.. Which doesn't increase the difficulty at all since slinking around with a pickaxe and gathering isn't that hard to do in the first place... There needs to be some kind of real difficulty behind either acquiring these materials or using them.

    I love bolt action rifles! Can't wait to try it out.

    But adding a miss cone, which is what I suspect the "lazy aim cone" is, is something that no one enjoys as it just introduces randomness.

    Ummm get a better computer if you are seriously playing with 10 FPS. The lowest I have ever dipped is 40 FPS and thats with a cluster F*** ton of player made buildings during a gun fight.

    Also sway is definitely needed. It's too easy to just use a Crosshair Overlay or Bluetact your screen right now. This "helps" prevent it....at least somewhat; the sway isn't drastic by any means.

    played on dev server tonight, bolt rifle is op. It should cost more.
