Yeah, you should be fine, would recommend waiting though, the Mac version is kinda iffy at the moment.

About 20 fps on lowest and will have lighting issues, so it will be essentially unplayable.

Since I've been stuck on a 2011 Macbook Pro for the past couple of days, I decided to see how Rust would run on it. Mind you, I am Boot-camping.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
    Intel Core i5-3210M @2.50GHz
    4GB RAM
    Intel HD Graphics 4000
So pretty much everything is fine and dandy except the graphics card.

But it runs okay, I suppose. About 15FPS on absolute lowest settings. It's playable, but not in the long run.

AMD FX-6330 Quad Core 4.1Ghz (Overclocked)

    AMD 6670 HD

Average FPS was 30 on minimum, it's defiantly playable but there are alot of texture bugs and in certain areas my fps dropped to 10. The main menu is very buggy and lags like hell (I'm talking about 5 fps, sometimes even less).

Overall, it's defiantly playable for such a cheap card but it isn't recommended.

if your budget is that high, go Nvidia, you will get much better performance (but the price point is better on AMD) I would recommend a 780 or a 770.

...you are an idiot. That isnt playable that is barely passable. What are you playing at, lowest with grass off? Oh and also, why did you bother asking if you can play, then tell me that you can? Did you really go out and buy it in the time it took me to answer?

acutally with 9800GTX its playable and gets 30+ fps with lowest settings..the card is old though but its pretty powerful from that era/generation ..just doesnt support newest top end features.

so i bet you can get it to work with 9500 as well.. just probably at low detail/resolution and about 20 fps

I disagree, he isgoing to get some graphical issues with that card most likely, I would recommend an upgradefor him, Ihaven't run that specific card, but I have afriend who has one fromthe 8 series and he cannotplay... excuse the strange spacings in my writing, I am on my phone and cant be bothered to error check since it is a piece of shit.

i agree that he might have issues and the framerate isnt good....ofc upgrade would be the best..because hes CPU is good.

i have a friend with 9800GTX on Linux and it plays just fine for him.. ofc lowest settings but over 30 fps at least

like i said to you on my youtube page.. you have to upgrade your mesa drivers... then theres a chance you might get it working.. but the framerate would be so bad anyway so you dont really want to play the game like that.

at least in this state of game, there is no way to enjoy the game with integrated intel gpu's or dedicated lowend gpus

    a 9500gt is not a gaming card.

    a 9800gtx is 4-5 times faster..

Yeah, this is a great card for the price. However, with a budget like that, you could get an even better card, the whole market is practically open to you short of a GTX 690.

Not sure on this one to be honest, From those specs I know for certain you will not play on high, but you would probably be fine on medium or low.
