You'll be fine, should play maxed.
Yeah so the thing is like game is working fine but it stutters every 5-15 seconds and laggs terrible if there is a gunfight. It's the same on lowest settings. I don't think it's my PC fault so whats wrong?

sorry if it a wrong topic for that.

    #edit
i tried fraps to check out my FPS and for most of the time my fps are on stable 45-55 fps but suddenly they go down to 30 even 20 sometimes and this is when the "lagg" appears. I guess my PC is still too bad to fully enjoy the game :(
Pretty weird since i could play bf3 with a decent fps, no stutters at medium-high.

Currently this is normal, though at thatfrequency it is slightly odd...

So do you have any suggestions how to imrpove my performance? I dont care about the graphics, those stutters just make it unable for me to aim at people or sometimes even fight them meele.

lmao my dumbass thought this game would run because it looks like a pile of shit.

    Specs: i3 3120 @ 2.5 ghz
    8 gigs of ram
256mb on board graphic card, prolly whats fucking me up
Just get any card that's been made after 2004, and it'll work fine.

2004 card wont cut it.. unity3D requirements arent same as Rust requirements
Unity3D is just an engine. some 2D platformers made on unity might run on lowend and old cards but not Rust

get a decent midend card ($120-150 at least) and you are set

probably you can run it but its not really running ..
your CPU is super old, and your GPU is not for gaming at all.

that means if it works with windowed and lowest..then 5 fps or similar... might go up to 10 some places...

Intel i7 740QM - base clock @ 1.73GHz up to max. clock @ 2.93GHz (without laptop plugged into charge it basically plummets down to 1.7GHz) - quad core

Yeah, you should play alright on lowest settings, your GPU is rather out of date and its a mobile one at that, but it should cut it.

I'm not sure, but that certainly isn't related to the topic at hand, I recommend making a thread about it.

Most likely not, but you could squeak by with maybe 20 FPS on low.

graphics, go for a 500 series from nvidia or 6000 series from AMD. CPU could use an upgrade too, an i3 or i5 would really help out in that regard.

Your laptop should be fine, just make sure that you force NVidia Optimus to use the GeForce GPU instead of integrated for Rust, since Rust has issues defaulting to Intel HD graphics.

Why did you buy the 4770k and not bother overclocking if you weren't planning on it, you shoulda bought the 4770 and saved some money. I got the same CPU, but I do some light overclocking from time-to-time.
Thanks for the report all the same, really appreciate it!

This gives inaccurate information, as I said above, I tested this with my laptop and it claims I meet the requirements, but in play testing, it REALLY does not fare well.

Nope. Not even on lowest I wouldn't imagine. 100 series is quite out of date, and a core 2 quad is iffy at best.

    depends whats your resolution
i doubt you will get 40+ with low settings and 1080p

    20-30 or similar most likely

with lower resolution its possible to get 30+ with that i think

I gotta agree with Xpander, you got there a nice, third gen i7, but the GPU is an early 600 series. I think he might be underselling it a bit though, it should play decent on medium, I would imagine.
