Hi! Great thread for noobs like me! :)
I am lagging like crazy but my friend said that it should run fine.. Please help :)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870
Memory: 4GB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
System: Win7 64-bit

Your CPU is not excellent for gaming, but the GPU should be able to max out the game. Are you sure the game is not using the Intel graphics and not your GPU because that may be the problem.

These are the parts I have at the moment, my gpu is a AMD asus matrix Platinum 7970 but it came in as a dud and is in replacement for like two weeks and it'll probably take another two weeks and possibly more due to the shot RMA services in my country do you think I can play with these specs and intel integrated 4000 HD.

Are you guys sure the 4000 hd isn't good enough? I don't want to go a hour long distance to pick up my motherboard then, but I read it can run games like me3.

I have tried to check that. But when i open the Nvidia control panel and try to change it for rust, i only have two options. The middle tab where you can choose wich one to use isn't there.. :(

On high i get around 70~60 depends on Mob count and when heavy fire drops to 50~45

A small demo should've been released so people can try it first hand (just run around with most of the functions nerfed)

Why even ask? You can easily run Rust maxed out at 1080p

I've tried max and minimum. Also diferent resolutions. But it isn't even close to playable at lowest :(

I'm not sure what is going on there, with those specs it should at least play at low, lurk here, I am sure someone here can help you.

The e-series from AMD is entry-level, the a-series is the standard iirc. Does your laptop have an integrated card, orjust what is on the CPU?

Putting it on fastest with lowest rendering.
Tied to force launch it with DX11 and 9

Youshould be able to play it at pretty high settings, so I am not sure what could be going on... first try updating your drivers.

I updated my drivers and launched the game and still the same issues. I've heard people say it could be ping but I am joining servers with 60-80 ping atm.

If you are getting a low framerate, the issue is not connected i think

That's not graphics thats your type of OS. Your graphics card should either be called GeForce GTX or Radeon HD, followed by a number.

at very least upgrade your graphics card to a 560 Ti from Nvidia, or a 6000 series from AMD. Also may want to upgrade your processor to a newer Athlon II...

Uh, an onboard card is the worst idea for gaming...
