NVIDIA GeForce GT430

yes its low.. low settings+resolution and then dont expect any miracles
If you can play, it will probably be on very low settings, that's an entry-level card. Combine that with your out of date CPU and low RAM and you will be barely scraping playable I would imagine.
[QUOTE=jonnymad;43418756]Yes.
Well.. I think you made a bit of mistake there because i have almost no lagg and no problems at al
[QUOTE=Ramonbunt;43441554] Really now? on what settings?
Windows 7
AMD Phenom II x4 3.6 ghz
Nvidia geforce gtx 760 2gb
8gb 1666 ram
Samsung 840 pro 256gb SSD
Runs completely smooth on max settings
Even if your motherboard can support 256GB of RAM(which means it's a server motherboard 9 times out of 9.1) your processor can't support more than 64GB, and the max ram supported(at least that I could find) was 128GB.
On topic: If you actually have that build - it's beautiful, it must run like a (insert mildly funny racist joke here).
If he is running a Xeon (which is typical of a server board,) he should be able to run the max 256, shouldn't he? Why else would they make "up to 256 GB of RAM" a selling point![]()
I decided I wanted to test as well
EDIT: on max settings

i5 760 (Quad core 2.8GHz)
AMD Radeon HD 5850M 1GB (Equivalent to a desktop 5750-5770)
4GB 1333MHz RAM
Wondering what graphics setting i could get more than 30FPS on.
Medium, probably, though probably going to be low, more likely, being on a laptop.
Try medium. I'm not too educated on the Mobility GPUs but it should work.
Apple actually lists a 5750 in their specs for this computer even though it's actually a 5850M so it's very comparable to a 5750 if that helps.

running max graphics and can duel box eve on medium graphics
No, will not run probably any higher than maybe 10-15 on lowest, the e-series is entry-level, that clock speed is EXTREMELY low, it's a laptop, and integrated AMD graphics on laptops are really not too good.
Edited:
No, not at all, even on lowest settings. That's an old CPU with a low clock speed, intel graphics are absolute shit, and four gigs of ram is barely scraping the passable area.
What speed is your RAM? Without pairing your APU with the correct GPU the best you can do is make sure you have 1600MHz or faster ram. Going above 1600MHz would help you squeeze a few more frame in, but if you are already at 1600 your money would be better spent on one of the GPUs that pair with your APU for crossfire.
Here are my specs and FPS.
AMD A10-5800k (Trinity) APU w/ Radeon HD 7660D
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 CML8GX3M2A1866C9R
ASUS A55M-E FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) MB
My monitor only goes up to 1600x900, so that may have an impact on my FPS.
It doesn't seem to matter what I choose when launching (fastest or fantastic), what effects fps for me is the render quality bar in game options menu.
Render bar at max I get 20-26 fps.
Render bar at zero I get 29-45 fps. 40+ mostly at night with some 48 fps at pitch black moments. 31-35 fps at day time. Playable to me, I'm not very picky.
Your results don't seem to far from mine considering you have A8 (richland?) and I have 10 (trinity)
I play with render bar at 1/4 approximately so ore and wood deposits don't look like (complete) balls. This keeps me at about 27-36 fps during the day and around 41 fps at night.
Here is another thread (http://lab.facepunch.com/thread/1341428/post/43378347/) might help folks get the best settings and fps. I only use the grass.on set to false.
Being an alpha not all the engines' options are available to players through options menu (although the launch option and render bar have some control over them) the link above is a guide to getting more fined tuned control via the f1 console. Hopefully more controls will be available in the options menu soon!
Okay, I'm going to be a computer noob like everyone else. I've been out of pc gaming for a while, and although I'm pretty sure I can run it, I figured I would check here with all you smart people...
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 2gb of dedicated graphics memory
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

I know the format is not the best so I apologize.
[QUOTE=jonnymad;43441626] Fantastic settings but when i was ingame the grass freaks me out so i did f1 and typed grass.on false and grass.replacement false and i putted the render quality on 0 but for me there is no difference between 100 and 0 and 0 helped me very much so yeah now im lagg free
Amd phenom II x4 955 be @ 3.8ghz
8gb ddr3 @1600mhz

I get around 45 fps avg sometimes a little higher (GPU usage jumps from 99% to 77% every so often)
On fantastic
I also have two gaming laptops I will try out and update when I get home.
MSI gx60 3be
Asus G53sw-xn1
Pretty cheap laptop;
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B980 2.40 GHz
4 GB RAM (3,88 GB available)
Windows 8, 64 bit.

Mac os x maverics
intel i5 2410

intel hd 3000
samsung 840 Evo 250gb
I get black screen. :( after joining server.
wont run.. unless you tell us your GPU, but that CPU is super old also.
maxed, 60+ for sure... have same GPU myself.
yes that videocard is not enough for this game.
Edited:
you should be fine at medium, maybe even high settings, just make sure you force your Geforce card instead of Intel one
i5-3570 @ 4.4 GHZ
Gigabyte 7950 BOOST
8GB Ram
Run on max Setting ok ?
probably yes.. dont know how good ati/amd drivers are but it should be able to play at maxed for sure
I think this notebook would run on max settings smoothly over 60fps, what do you guys think?
Intel Core i7 Haswell - 4700MQ 2.4 GHz, 6MB Cache
8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (1600 MHZ
SSHD 500 GB - 5400 RPM with 8GB SSD - Seagate
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M GPU (2GB)
nvidia geforce 645M
intel i5 3230M
6 gb ram
how about me?
yes probably though mobile cards are somewhat weaker than the desktop ones.
medium with 30+ probably..maybe even on high... just make sure the game uses geforce instead of intel igp

Oh and it runs btw ;) Albeit slowish, will try to change some settings, was planning to buy some extra ram but I am not sure if it will make much of a difference.

its an all in on pc btw
it runs but pretty laggy any tips please
How are you getting your FPS?
Windows 7 64bit
4GB RAM
GeForce GT 440
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5500 @ 2.80GHz ( 2 CPUs ), ~2.8GHz
Dunno how to check FPS , new at rust :)
But i can play this game with Fast Graphic Quality and no lag
hey,
this would be good to go on...
as it is stuck at the facepunch logo can't even try it out.
Windows 7 64 bit
Geforce 780GTX
I7 4770K Quad core @4.00GHz
16GB DDR3 2133 Ram
Yeah, my prosessor won't handle it, I know. It's sad, but it there was a discount at the time and it costed less than some other motherboards availiable.
O-T: Yes, I have that build. I built it a month or so before Christmas.
yes at max
get a better GPU ..520 is super low for this game made in 2013 and at alpha stage
fraps, mumble-overlay
maybe your system defaults to intel igp instead?
you should be able to run perfectly with your geforce card
