You're gonna have to post your GPU, I can't gauge performance without that.

If you can play, it will probably be on very low settings, that's an entry-level card. Combine that with your out of date CPU and low RAM and you will be barely scraping playable I would imagine.

    I have:
    Windows 8.1
    Geforce GTX 780Ti 3GB
Intel Core i7-4820K 3.7GHz (I got 3.8GHz total though somehow)
    16GB DDR3 (8x2)
    240GB SSD
    3TB regular saving Space

I don't own Rust yet, but I think I would run it fine at max setting with 150fps.

oh and my motherboard can run 256 GB ram I thought that was pretty special lol
Even if your motherboard can support 256GB of RAM(which means it's a server motherboard 9 times out of 9.1) your processor can't support more than 64GB, and the max ram supported(at least that I could find) was 128GB.
On topic: If you actually have that build - it's beautiful, it must run like a (insert mildly funny racist joke here).

If he is running a Xeon (which is typical of a server board,) he should be able to run the max 256, shouldn't he? Why else would they make "up to 256 GB of RAM" a selling point

Medium, probably, though probably going to be low, more likely, being on a laptop.

Try medium. I'm not too educated on the Mobility GPUs but it should work.

Apple actually lists a 5750 in their specs for this computer even though it's actually a 5850M so it's very comparable to a 5750 if that helps.

No, will not run probably any higher than maybe 10-15 on lowest, the e-series is entry-level, that clock speed is EXTREMELY low, it's a laptop, and integrated AMD graphics on laptops are really not too good.

No, not at all, even on lowest settings. That's an old CPU with a low clock speed, intel graphics are absolute shit, and four gigs of ram is barely scraping the passable area.

CPU: AMD A8-6600K with integrated graphics card AMD Radeon HD 8570D and 8 gigs of ram

I tried the game already and I got like 20-30 FPS with low settings, no render quality and grass off, anyway to increase FPS?
What speed is your RAM? Without pairing your APU with the correct GPU the best you can do is make sure you have 1600MHz or faster ram. Going above 1600MHz would help you squeeze a few more frame in, but if you are already at 1600 your money would be better spent on one of the GPUs that pair with your APU for crossfire.

Here are my specs and FPS.

AMD A10-5800k (Trinity) APU w/ Radeon HD 7660D
    CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 CML8GX3M2A1866C9R
    ASUS A55M-E FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) MB

My monitor only goes up to 1600x900, so that may have an impact on my FPS.

It doesn't seem to matter what I choose when launching (fastest or fantastic), what effects fps for me is the render quality bar in game options menu.

Render bar at max I get 20-26 fps.
Render bar at zero I get 29-45 fps. 40+ mostly at night with some 48 fps at pitch black moments. 31-35 fps at day time. Playable to me, I'm not very picky.

Your results don't seem to far from mine considering you have A8 (richland?) and I have 10 (trinity)

I play with render bar at 1/4 approximately so ore and wood deposits don't look like (complete) balls. This keeps me at about 27-36 fps during the day and around 41 fps at night.

Here is another thread (http://lab.facepunch.com/thread/1341428/post/43378347/) might help folks get the best settings and fps. I only use the grass.on set to false.

Being an alpha not all the engines' options are available to players through options menu (although the launch option and render bar have some control over them) the link above is a guide to getting more fined tuned control via the f1 console. Hopefully more controls will be available in the options menu soon!
