Would really appreciate some input on how well my system would run Rust, thanks.
probably medium/high with 30+ fps
my system:
i7 4770k @ 4,2ghz
16gb 2133 ram
nvidia gtx 780ti OC edition
asus maximus VI Hero
win 8.1

6GB ddr3 (4+2@1333) and 1,5TB seagate barracuda green 5900rpm
NVidia GT545-3GB DDR3 FPS: around 35 on 1680*1050p.
laptop nov '10: I3-370m@2,4GHz (uses 40-60%)
3GB (2+1@1066) and 120GB kingston SSDnow V300 on sataI(150) :(

While running 4 games but Im busy so didn't want too turn them off.
Windows 7
Core 2 Duo e6550
4 GB Ram
ATI Radeon 4850 512 MB
1024x768 19" screen (second system, for nephews to come and play during weekends, ran Minecraft well)
If not playable, what is the best single PEG Connector VGA Card for me to get assuming the 4850 won't cut the deal.
I have a corsair hx750W but just a single PEG Connector since I lost the detachable cables.
Thank you
Windows 7 Professional
Core i7-4770R
32 GB RAM
2x GeForce GTX 690
ASUS PQ321 4K 31.5 inch Monitor
Will it run rust?
Yeah, you'll be fine and playing it at max.
that card should cut it fairly good.. though driver support might be the problem since amd only supports from 5xxx up now.
the cpu is quite old though.. but shouldnt be a huge deal for this game
Some suggestions with this system?
Win 7 64-bit
i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 275
6 GB RAM
Samsung SyncMaster S22B150
New graphics card. Your CPU should be alright, but I would recommend an upgrade a generation or two there as well.
Thanks ;)
just wanted to add.. i Clocked my radeon 4530 but just wery little so i came up in 25-30 fps
it works but it`s not recommended unless you know what youre doing
i think GTX 275 should run it fairly good at med/high.
it might be old but its not lowend card
Not sure on the GPU due to it not showing the full GPU name(could be 7730,7750,7770,7790). The GPU itself will be good, as I use a 7730. Your CPU could use a bit of an upgrade, I'd go look at some quad core i5 processors, you can pick them up for as little as $180.
Otherwise if you don't want to upgrade try medium settings.
No, more likely medium at best. Despite being a mostly high-end card in its time, it's been a good, what, four years if I remember correctly, since the 200 series was on top?
true but shouldnt be a problem if 9800GTX can run this game on medium. and 9800GTX was rebranded to GTS260 if i remember correct... but 275 is more powerful. so i think it will run fairly good even on high settings.
On High settings it goes slow and seems a little blocked. I have to find the right resolution.
Alright then, I don't know much about that transition period in card generations, to be honest.![]()
If it won't handle it, I might buy myself a HD 7770 vga card.
Thanks mate, cheerio!
I will buy a new VIDEO CARD. actually i play with 13fps in 640x480, in 1024x768 i get 5fps, and i like play in 1024x768 at least with 60 fps.
ACTUALLY MI SPECS:
Intel 2 Core Quad Q83000 2.50 GHz (4 Cores)
4GB RAM but i have other 4gb ram (8gb ram)
ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series 512MB
Windows XP (i will install windows 7 64-bit)
specifically:
CPU:
MAINBOARD:
that video card would be compatible with my pc
BUDGET: $230
I'm chilean, sorry for my bad english.
Looking for some assistance. I purchased Rust, and now can't play it. I thought my system met the requirements. It loads the game, but then once I click a server, it blinks red and it never loads. Any advice?
AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor 3ghz,
8Gigs RAM
64 bit Operating Sys.
ATI Radeon HD 4250
Yeah, definitely upgrade your graphics card, that is a lower-end card even for the time it was released. Get a mid-range 5000 or 6000 card, or go mid-500 or so from Nvidia.
you GPU is pretty old and low
"blinking red" is probably due outdated drivers (which arent updated anymore on regular basis for 4xxx and below series from amd) or some overheating problems.
anyway your card wouldnt run it with acceptable framerates anyway.
get something midrange from amd or nvidia newer generations
Suggestions for this system?
Windows 7
Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
6 gigs of random RAM
AMD FX 4170 @ 4.2Ghz
Gigabyte GT640 OC
video card is pretty low, but probably can pull it off on low/medium settings
get something from midrange and you are set.. 660+ or 760+
Yeah, i've been planning on getting a 760 at some point.. it does run it at max settings, with 40 fps tho, wich still amazes me
Windows 8.1
Intel i3-2130 @3.40 GHz
6GB of RAM
GTX 650 Ti
I get 60+ FPS on Fantastic settings. Sometimes drop below 60.
GTX 275 is a crap videocard, he might run the game at the lowest settings if he is Lucky.
AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 215 Processor / 2.7 GHz Performance Rated at: 5.27 GHz
2.1 GB of RAM
GTX GeForce GT 520
Will it be a problem since i have 2 gb or i can buy it and play the game? :) thanks
No, it will not play. Your RAM is far too low and that card is entry-level.
GPU & CPU are outdated, I'd really look into a $450-500 computer if I were you. You might be able to run it at low.
I have:
Windows 8.1
Geforce GTX 780Ti 3GB
Intel Core i7-4820K 3.7GHz (I got 3.8GHz total though somehow)
16GB DDR3 (8x2)
240GB SSD
3TB regular saving Space
I don't own Rust yet, but I think I would run it fine at max setting with 150fps.
oh and my motherboard can run 256 GB ram I thought that was pretty special lol
When i got dayz with ARMA, i played it with low settings and it worked i do have fifa 14 & csgo also and they aren't the best like you said but they're good enough for me~_~ but i still think i can run it at low settings
Oh wow 500 dollars? In Norway our taxes are maxed out, you would have to pay 1000$ to get a computer with like 6GB ram..
Edited:
You're kind of supposed to run CS at low settings though to get a view-advantage :P can't see shit when all those details are everywhere
Well i guess, but still i am able to run some good games on my bad computer and now at the moment i am unable to upgrade anything, so thats why i was asking if i can run it at low settings and still play the game or just dont bother to buy the game anyways!
Can I get a decent framerate with my dinky Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2ghz Processor?
My video card is fine, although I can't remember it's specs. Just worried about that dinky processor.
3gb ram
Not an expert, but it looks like you could play it at 200+ FPS with max settings.
You're gonna have to post your GPU, I can't gauge performance without that.
