GTX 650 Ti. I already have it, and when I found out I needed a better PSU, I got kinda pissed.

Ah alright, well you should be fine with that card![]()
Processor - AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor, 3200 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)
RAM - 8gb
Graphix - Nvidia GeForce GTX 660
Computers about 4 years young, but runs like a breeze. Any cheap upgrade suggestions to the processor though?
can i run this?
OS: Mavericks
CPU: Intel Duo Core 2 2.66GHz
RAM: 4GB of DDR3 Ram
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9400
Thats a pretty good cpu still, either keep that or get an FX.
Edited:
Iffy, I think you can play on lowest but im not sure.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor ~3.6GHz
8192MB RAM
130GB free of 465GB Hard Drive
GPU: NVIDIA GForce GT 520
can i run at 50-60fps?
no,
your GPU is low
probably at around 20 fps on lowest settings.
get a $100-150 GPU and you should be fine
Game runs pretty decent for me, no lag when playing on the lowest and final lowest settings ( cant check what their names are right now ).

This is my fps on high settings with the following specs:
9800GTX+ 512mb (I have no fucking idea how this runs so good)
FX6300
8GB Corsair Vengeance
500GB Seagate Barracuda
M5A97 R2.0
i7 4770k overclock to 6ghz
sli 4x gtx titan
64gb ram
1tb ssd
10fps on fastest
should play fine on high/medium settings
seems like an overkill.
probably game is running on intel igp instead of your gtx titan
yep its an old card but high end from that old era.. while it doesnt support the latest bells and whistles it still has the raw power to pull this off
You are definitely doing something wrong if you aren't shitposting, that is. I am running same CPU and a 2-way Titan SLI with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD, and I can run the game maxed at 120+, keep it locked at 60 though.
I'm surprised at how many AMD CPUs there are in this thread. Not that it's a bad thing, but the vast majority of the ones I have seen happen to be AMD.
Edited:
All good except for the GPU. Invest in a $100 one, like a Radeon 7790 and you'll be good to go.
probably because its the best bang for buck to get amd cpu as the motherboard tend to be cheaper as well
and the performance for gaming isnt that bad because most of the games relay on GPU mostly.
i like AMD FX 8 series because they are cheap and i can do rendering and all kinds of multitasking with a cheap cpu without worrying how many cores are being used by something..
bit offtopic though.
Windows 8 64-bit

What FPS can I run Rust at?
Thank you for your time :)
You won't be able to run it more than maybe 20.
not very good... on lowest settings around 20 fps i'd say...might get somewhat more if you lower the resolution as well.
get yourself a dedicated GPU (if its not an laptop though) at least with $100-150 ..and you should be fine.
though your CPU clocks are pretty weak also...but this should still do a decent job for this game
Haha! Gotcha! Also, that is a laptop, I just googled the CPU.
Well thank you guys both! And thank you Xpander for the recommendation on the dedicated GPU, you are both very helpful :)
So I couldn't find an answer to my question but i Don't want to make a new post in fear ill just be pointed to this thread and banned. The game runs fine on my laptop but for some reason its like every 10 seconds i get a split second hang up no matter what I'm doing or where I am at, like when I'm mining it will hang up for just a sec and then ill suddenly swing twice really fast. At first i thought it was server lag but i've changed many servers and it always happens and my friend doesn't seem to have that issue. It also happens on fastest and fantastic setting so I'm guessing anything in between it will still happen. I dont really know what it would be i also have to turn the grass displacement to false or else the grass is just flashing as i move.
I am at work right now and these are they only settings i have available to me to look at for now

the "small hangups" are normal for everyone, even I get them with a 2-titan SLI build. The game isn't optimized yet, just wait a while and they should have it fixed![]()

You should play it on high easily at 60+, probably even maxed.

Awhile ago my brother changed the graphics card on this computer. I don't know if it showed or not.
I can run League of Legends and TF2 on high quality just fine.. 60FPS
I don't think it will run too well, that's only a mid-level card even for its time. I would say medium, maybe medium-high. Also for the record, LoL and TF2 are VERY easy to run. I can run TF2 on lowest settings 60FPS on a pentium III...
So I would be able to run Rust at medium at a stable FPS rate?
Yes, stable is questionable though. I would say medium though.
I can run it amazingly with my
I5 @ 4.2
R9 290
8 gigs ram
windows 64bit
Sabertooth P67
But yeah... game causes my computer to go black screen, only game that does this. Have no clue why.
That actually seems to be a rather common issue. I can't tell you what causes it because I have never experienced it, but I think it is AMD-related.
I can't figure it out. I just did a driver sweep last week. Tried limiting my fps to 60. GPU not overheating at all. CPU not overheating.
Sucks cause I love this game even with all it's faults it is one of a kind. Wish I could play it without the fear of a black screen popping up any minute.
Could be 5 minutes, could be an hour, could be 2 hours. But it's usually more or less 30mins~
Anyways I can't get myself to play, falling asleep in the middle of nowhere randomly and coming back dead after a hard reset is just too annoying.
Here are the specifications of my laptop .
Processor: Intel Core i3
Processor Cores: 2
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Memory (RAM): 4 GB
Memory Type: DDR3 SDRAM
Operating System :Windows 8
Screen Resolution :1366x768
Intel integrated graphics HD 4000
will this laptop be able to run rust? Even on very low settings, if so what fps would i be playing at ?
everything low, grass off and your resolution .. around ~20 fps i'd say... with drops to below 10 even in places
would it be playable ?
depends what people want.. for me it seems totaly unplayable.. everything below 30 fps is not playable
Macbook pro
OS X 10.9.1
2,4 GHz Intel Core i5
4 Go 1333 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 Mo
Is it playable? Thanks
no, not with that GPU
