What graphics card are you getting?
GTX 650 Ti. I already have it, and when I found out I needed a better PSU, I got kinda pissed.

    no,

    your GPU is low

probably at around 20 fps on lowest settings.

get a $100-150 GPU and you should be fine

yep its an old card but high end from that old era.. while it doesnt support the latest bells and whistles it still has the raw power to pull this off

You are definitely doing something wrong if you aren't shitposting, that is. I am running same CPU and a 2-way Titan SLI with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD, and I can run the game maxed at 120+, keep it locked at 60 though.

I'm surprised at how many AMD CPUs there are in this thread. Not that it's a bad thing, but the vast majority of the ones I have seen happen to be AMD.

All good except for the GPU. Invest in a $100 one, like a Radeon 7790 and you'll be good to go.

probably because its the best bang for buck to get amd cpu as the motherboard tend to be cheaper as well
and the performance for gaming isnt that bad because most of the games relay on GPU mostly.

i like AMD FX 8 series because they are cheap and i can do rendering and all kinds of multitasking with a cheap cpu without worrying how many cores are being used by something..

    bit offtopic though.

not very good... on lowest settings around 20 fps i'd say...might get somewhat more if you lower the resolution as well.

get yourself a dedicated GPU (if its not an laptop though) at least with $100-150 ..and you should be fine.

though your CPU clocks are pretty weak also...but this should still do a decent job for this game

So I couldn't find an answer to my question but i Don't want to make a new post in fear ill just be pointed to this thread and banned. The game runs fine on my laptop but for some reason its like every 10 seconds i get a split second hang up no matter what I'm doing or where I am at, like when I'm mining it will hang up for just a sec and then ill suddenly swing twice really fast. At first i thought it was server lag but i've changed many servers and it always happens and my friend doesn't seem to have that issue. It also happens on fastest and fantastic setting so I'm guessing anything in between it will still happen. I dont really know what it would be i also have to turn the grass displacement to false or else the grass is just flashing as i move.

I am at work right now and these are they only settings i have available to me to look at for now

the "small hangups" are normal for everyone, even I get them with a 2-titan SLI build. The game isn't optimized yet, just wait a while and they should have it fixed

I don't think it will run too well, that's only a mid-level card even for its time. I would say medium, maybe medium-high. Also for the record, LoL and TF2 are VERY easy to run. I can run TF2 on lowest settings 60FPS on a pentium III...

That actually seems to be a rather common issue. I can't tell you what causes it because I have never experienced it, but I think it is AMD-related.

I can't figure it out. I just did a driver sweep last week. Tried limiting my fps to 60. GPU not overheating at all. CPU not overheating.

Sucks cause I love this game even with all it's faults it is one of a kind. Wish I could play it without the fear of a black screen popping up any minute.

Could be 5 minutes, could be an hour, could be 2 hours. But it's usually more or less 30mins~

Anyways I can't get myself to play, falling asleep in the middle of nowhere randomly and coming back dead after a hard reset is just too annoying.
