Definitely will play, not sure how well though. My guess would be medium-high to high, but you might max it too.

I can't really gauge that, unfortunately, I haven't played with that card or setup, my best guess would be around 45-50 on high, but I am honestly not sure. Wait here for one of the other helpers to answer for you.

Thanks mate. Knowing I might be able to get 45-50 on high is a resolution from that ~20fps on my 430 GT atm!

The 430 GT is an entry-level card for the 400 series, the 465 GTX is a significant step up, it's more a mid-high level card (at least for the 400 series,) so you should be alright. It's outdated, but not severely.

That's a pretty high-end rig, I wouldn't be surprised if you could max it, you can definitely play it on high though.

Well to be fair, you are rather lacking on the graphics, that is a last-gen card with a really low amount of video memory. Not only that, but you are barely cutting it in the CPU category and are right around spec for memory.

Let's not devolve this into a Mac Vs. PC argument, please, it is entirely based on personal opinion and usage. I have run both extensively (been about four years since I used a Mac though.) Macs are MUCH MUCH MUCH better for home and general usage and are much more secure. PCs are cheaper and much better for gaming.

You should max it at a solid 60+. On a sidenote, iisn't the 690 a dual-GPU card? Why SLI that?

Its a card with 2x690's in it? So that would be 2 cards in SLI even though in same casing? :-D

Not sure if you are asking if you can run or not, but yes you can, probably medium-high to high.
You seem like you know a lot of what your talking about. :)
Do you think mine will run above medium or high settings?

I just bought the Lenovo K450 and it's coming in the mail soon.

Processor: Intel Quad Core i5-4430 (3.00 GHz up to 3.20 GHz, 6MB L2 Cache)
Operating System: Windows 8 Standard 64 - English
    GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M 2GB Graphics Card
    RAM: 8 GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600MHz UDIMM Memory
Hard Drive: 1 TB 7200RPM Serial ATA 2.5" Hard Drive

Iffy, that is an entry-level 600 series GPU, AND a mobile one, at that. You should be able to play, but probably only on medium, though that's just a guess.

Hi, guys. I'm wondering if my friend's laptop will be able to run Rust at least decently.
    These are the specs:

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 2.20GHz
GPU: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
    RAM: 3.1 GB
    OS: Microsoft Windows 7, 32-bit

While I'm here, these are my specs. Will I run it maxed?

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Boost
    RAM: 8.1 GB
    OS: Microsoft Windows 7, 64-bit

Haha! Well in that case yes, graphics are switchable. Don't worry about incompatibility, you should have a pci-e x16 lane for that card, and with thay cpu there shouldn't be any worries about bottlenecking.

Alright, I don't know anywhere else to ask, but I am having troubles with finding the right PSU for my Dell Inspiron 660, because I found out that the GPU I got requires a 6 pin connector for the power supply, and it has to have at least 400 Watts. I am looking into a good PSU that would fit in my computer. Here is the one I am looking at ATM.

Regarding the PSU, if it has molex connectors, just get a molex to 6-pin converter and you will be fine, they usually come with the graphics card anyways. As for fitting, I am not sure. Back when I upgraded a prebuilt from HP, I got a new PSU and it fit fine, but was a bit too thick and I ended up taking out the Optical Drive to make the space. That being said, I would recommend getting at least a 550W PSU if you are planning on running a graphics card, they can take quite a lot of power.

I'll probably end up getting the 500W PSU since it's only 10$ more. Really hope I get it soon because I really wanted to play Rust with my new graphics card...
