Yea, but in a sense all you need is 2gb of ram for a singular server.
I'd say CPU is not a problem either. You don't need a beastly computer to runa rust server, just a good connection.

Why are we complaining about people cheating or not, that is not the purpose of this thread so can we get back on topic??

We should try and set up a stress test and see how far we can push the server / slots says as we seem to have no limit on the slot size atm.

The Server Files for Win and Linux are leaked on some "bad" site.
I downloaded the files and have it running on my pc.

it only takes a small change for garry to fix that and send the new version to trusted server hosters..

Yes is the best idea i think.
Some from the "trusted" server hosters give users full access to a ftp server which include all files.
And that is the bad thing.

Im running two hosted servers from two different hosts. If you pay attention to the steam update command prompt, all the information is displayed. Steam access and Beta Password is all physically present to the server owner.

If you want them that bad find them yourself.... As far as I'm aware you can already save everything by simply doing a backup.

Your provider must be incompetent, mine shows ***** for the password when running the update.

Got the Linux files. No luck at running, nor getting Windows though.

I'm not sure if Garry aware of this but Server Files have been leaked for quite some time and it's not so difficult to access them.
