    Try going to properties, click the beta tab and choose Dev - Live developer branch, under select the beta you would like to opt into. It'll give you an update of about 13mb. After doing this and verifying the cache, it launched for me.

    It'd be better to have a fix that made the regular release instead of the dev release work.

    OK i repair that. I'm have win 7 go to folder with Rust.exe and use compatibility with win xp or vista and run with administrator
