When grass is on, it will flicker very rapidly between those 2 states pictured above when I move my character.
It will spam my console with these errors:
(RenderTexture.Create failed: format unsupported)

Try grass.displacement false
in the console, tell me if it still happens

I got the same thing I just do grass.on false. Helps alot.

Just bought the game on steam early access and half the people on the official server had the problem as I asked about it in chat, so it seems a widely experience problem even after recent patch.
It should be fixed as more people enter rust over steam, that are not used to entering stuff in a console to fix a bug ...
Just my 2 cents

I've had the problem almost as long as rust has had a standalone client... I dont think any patch was attempting to fix it

can we possibly get grass.displacement false forced into the next small patch you have planned? just until it's fixed? I don't mind give people the help, but I don't know if everyone out there is like me :P

It just not nice if possibly the majority of people buying the game of steam has to search for this fix, as easy it might be to fix...
