it needs some depth via some light atmospheric perspective effects (eg fog)

which is a massive shame really because the composition, if i squint and blur out all the unnecessary detail and shapes, is really good - the canyon wall that is created by all that tech creates a really beautiful pair of lines that lead the eye up to the big space-station thing
