I think you just have to make a filter option in server selection:
Official Servers / Private Servers
This way the official servers will rise in population again thats for sure.
And those who wants their private servers have still the freedom to rent them.
I know lots of people searching for a Official Server to play on.

YES. This is something that is needed . I ONLY play on official servers since there I feel safe from admin abuse and other shit that the admin will have any direct/in-direct effect on.

Well that wouldn't stop the admins from spawning in stuff or kicking anyone as they see fit.

Awesome helk , thank for listening. I hope this solves some of the issues private servers brought with them. My squad and me will be playing on one of the official servers for sure.
