    Hi guys, I'm uploading the final patch before live now.. anything else will have to wait, we need to make this patch live!

    Here's some fixed stuff :

    Can't place foundations too close to spike walls (if you surround your base people wont be able to build staircases up unless they destroy the spike walls first )
    Can't place spike walls too close to doors (anti griefing )
    Slightly nerfed fall damage by default (server admins may or may not override this)
    When a server restarts, damaged objects should be tinted correctly now
    (May have) Fixed bug with wildlife not being able to be harvested under some conditions
    Fixed grenades not colliding with doors
    Fixed shelters not destroying attached doors
    Increased resources required to repair spike walls
    Nice work! But pls make something with ceiling griefing... Thats what stops me and my friends from playing.

    I have a bug, or at least something that is horribly annoying for a expensive item.

    Those 'Large Gates' and 'Large Doors' dissapear after about 6 hours. And 'Large Spiked Walls' sound like they are breaking and particles emit from them.

    Also, I'm not sure if you are aware that there is a new Dupe Glitch.
    1) Open Task Manager
    2) Close Rust.exe
    3) Rejoin server and make sure a friend is on with you
    4) Walk and get your friend to kill the idle player.
    5) Loot

    And also dunno if this dupe bug is fixed or not:
    After server crash if you were transferring items from box to your pack all that items will be duped (all items will back to box and you will still have them in char backpack).

    So, My base is surrounded by Large Spiked walls and before the Dev went Live every SECOND it was like they were being hit. That's fixed too?

    Yeah it's on the dev version right now (servers need updating) if all goes well we will roll it out to the public in a few hours

    My inet broke for like 1-2 sec and then i logged back in, my friend said im still Standing, but i was already connecting again.
    The funny Thing was, when i was back in the game, my friends saw my Body twice, could kill one and get the loot. I never had this issue before even my Inet Brakes quite often like this =)

    Seems all is well. You could probably make it live right now.

    I just found another bug which we can fix quickly.. You can't place spike walls near gates that already have a door in place, so if you're going to make a compound place the spike walls next to the gate before you put the gate in.. but hopefully this will be fixed in 30 minutes or so

    I just found another bug which we can fix quickly.. You can't place spike walls near gates that already have a door in place, so if you're going to make a compound place the spike walls next to the gate before you put the gate in.. but hopefully this will be fixed in 30 minutes or so

    The same is for Pillars, you cant place Spikewalls next to Pillars, but if you put the spikeswalls first on the Foundation, and then the Pillars, you can have a "double Wall".
    If you place the Spikewall as your Wall and then you can put the wall over the Spikewall, the Spikewall is stuck in the Wall. Same for Barricades.


    Dont blame me when ist allready fixed =)

    from what i've tested, the fall damage seems to have been increased? On the last patch I could survive a fall with around half health, now i'm barely surviving. Is this the desired effect that was meant? (tested on two different servers)

    Well thank you and Helk very much. Me & my friends really do appreciate you guys asking for the communities input. I'm not sure how else to report bugs besides emailing them now that the bug reports tab has been removed so if you guys could do these type of threads every so often, that would really be great seeing as you guys fixed some really annoying bugs swiftly upon receiving reports about them. Thanks again guys!

    The other thing people are asking for a fix on is the airdrop completely missing the hacker valley and resource valley areas. (The second half of the map)

    I think the airdrop should be able to drop on any area that resources spawn.

    I actually haven't played the game in quite a while before these dev updates so I'm probably guilty of reporting bugs that were around even before these dev updates but regardless it's good to see these bugs get fixed especially now as we approach the official steam release.

    Hey guys I'm working on another patch for the dev version before we go live, so far I've fixed the following :

    1. Bullets no longer damage gates/gateways
    2. Fixed explosives not doing the correct amount of damage to gates
    3. You can't place gates/gateways near prefab structures
    4. Slightly randomized the airdrop position by 20m in all directions
    5. Increased cost of spike walls significantly


    Post any other strange issues if you don't mind, and I'll fix them as soon as possible, Thanks!
    fishing, saturation, and after being alive for a while, your character gets used to the cold, and gathering, so they become more skilled in gathering wood, rocks, and animals. the increase is not alot, but i like this in my opinion.
