Made my first comic since I was 11 years old back at PHWOnline circa 2005 (rip). Could have been better but if I took a week writing, storyboarding, posing, then editing I would have never have gotten it done, which is what happened to my other comic attempts recently; what I needed to do was to shit out a quick comic to get the juices flowing. So I decided to grind half of the day with no food and I don't think it turned out that bad.

Fuck yeah. I love seeing a comic like this. Classic style and intrigue to go with it! Fun read but unfortunately it felt too short and that's because I was enjoying it.

My major gripe right now really is that the speech bubbles are too oval in shape. It should be far more rounded and it's not like that because the dialogue rolls out in a sentence. You'll have to center your dialogue and start bunching it together so you can get a far more circular speech bubble. Looks a little more professional and cleaner too. Play with the idea a bit and try to get familiar with it.

Otherwise, in all honesty, I think you have a fantastic start. I'm excited to see where exactly you plan on taking this and what you could do to make it more exciting!

Thanks guys, I was expecting a much more lukewarm response. All I can say is that the next one is already being worked on and is, imo, a much higher quality. I'm just glad I got the ball rolling after a year of pussyfooting around.

Yeah, for something done in half a day it's pretty good. Good to see more comics coming out nowadays, too.

I do think you need a lot of work in those sound effects, they frankly look terrible. I also agree with Jim_Riley on the speechbubbles, make those things rounder with balanced text.

Overall, it's a good effort for someone just getting back to the game, especially seeing as you were 11 when you started.
