My only problem with the rifle is that the barrel isn't a single barrel. It looks stepped down near the front handle. The bullet would have to somehow go down before leaving the barrel. It hurts my brain when I look at it.
    i don't see it.... =/

I love the gun, but I feel that the trigger is a little far back, and as mentioned above, the barrel appears to be separated into two different barrels.

If you need any guides or images for improvised or homemade weapons, feel free to hit me up over PM.
One weapon I would love to see though, is the shovel AK-47 made by a guy from NorthEast Shooters.
For a quick image to explain what the hell I am talking about:

I thought the same thing when i saw the first render, here you can see how it looks weird:

Apart from that, the rifle looks pretty cool

The rifle is way too high poly compared to the other guns in rust.. Shouldn't affect framerate too much tho

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the other guns just placeholders (bar the pipe shotgun)? If so it's likely they weren't actually modeled by FacePunch right?

This is the normal process. First you model it in high poly version, and when it is approved you make a low poly version (for better performance). This low poly version is what is used in the game.
