Very interesting. Would this happen to be related to the bringing down the Berlin Wall back in the waning days of the Cold War?
Evidently the creator of the video has his own meanings and intentions (which I respect and am by no means trying to undermine.) but originally The Wall's ultimate intended message (that Roger Waters admits to, at least) is that self-isolation isn't a resolution to anyone's problems, whether they be problems you have personally or problems others have that affect you.
On a longer-winded note it's a fictionalized recantation of Roger Waters's issues and struggles in life (especially the death of his father in World War II) up to 1978 or so that led him to become somewhat insular for a period in his adult life, which he resolved with psychotherapy and by expressing these feelings by creating The Wall.
Great video by the way, OP.
