So, this is my first post on this so apologies if this isn't quite the right area (I assume it is considering it's the art section of GMod).

I have a very small webcomic that I'm trying to promote called Half-Assed-Life (or HAL).
I have posted it before on an old profile, but all I could get out of the people at the time (constructive criticism-wise) was "Get better at posing." (Which isn't really that constructive, just criticism).
I think I've improved a lot in my comedy and overall look of the webcomic, but I would be open to constructive criticism to improve.

    Half-Assed-Life

Here's even a taster from one of my latest strips.

NOTE: This isn't the latest strip, just one of the ones I've posted since getting back to HAL

Here is the Facebook as well in case anyone would like to stay updated: https://www.facebook.com/pages/HAL/1...016?ref=stream

I may post here from time-to-time as well if it's likeable enough.

Yes, always. I think, that it's rule number one in gmod, and many will agree with me.

almost all of my most acclaimed scenes were made without DoF, i think that tells us something about this supposed "rule number one"

unless there's sarcasm here that i missed

Having DoF in a serious webcomic is fine, but I don't think it holds any place in a humour webcomic unless necessary. The argument for/against it seems fairly moot anyway.
Thank you for all comments so far and constructive criticism is welcome.

I don't think, that genre of comic is important. DoF must be in all screenshots.

Start releasing these comics individually and you'll be bringing some relatively new life and excitement to FP again in terms of comics and the quantity of comics.

This gives me some seriously nostalgic, old-school, PHW era vibe. Very cool and very refreshing. You have some good work here. Can't wait for more!

Thank you all for the feedback :)

By releasing them individually do you mean open a new thread every time I release a strip?
(It's been a while since I've been on a forum hah)

Yes, I think that's what he means. There hasn't been a proper "comic strip" in here for ages, so an active one would most definitely bring some much-needed life into the comics community.

I also made a thread for comics discussion a while back if you wanna hang out and showcase ideas.

Had an idea for a recurring idea for the strip.
    Anyone care to weigh in?
It's just a quick mock-up (I need to find a better baseball cap)

(Based on the outrageous arm-gestures generally displayed by Ashton Kutcher.
    I know it's a VERY old show, but I have yet to see a Half-Life-style Punk'd.)
