Since the latest patch I have been experiencing the textures of the ground very rapidly changing positions so fast that it gives a flashing effect. This happens faster then what it does when I am moving or looking around.

I hope you awesome developers can fix this or someone can help :D

What graphics card do you have?
Have you added any command line arguments?
Are you using the Dev version or the normal version?
Are there any errors in the console (f1)?

    Ok, all good guys.

The problem was apart from me typing the command: "grass.on false" I was typing "rust.on false" :)

    Don't ask why, I'm an idiot :D

To prevent a new thread, the grass.on false command makes it much easier to see corpses and loot bags.
Will it be just as easy to see the corpses and loot bags with the grass on, in future patches?

Have you tried the grass displacement feature?

Also from the new patch notes:
After playing the game for a while over the weekend I realized I was having a hard time seeing things in the grass such as backpacks from killed players and zombies, so I added grass displacement. It's off by default as it has some issues but you can toggle it on by typing

grass.displacement true in the console (F1)

It's a work in progress and not everything causes displacement but one of the cool features of it is players leaving a trail where they walk, It's possible to track people for a short time due to this. Also your shelters and campfires will no longer be covered in grass, and backpacks/killed creatures will be easier to spot. Please post any feedback regarding this feature on the forums!

I'm having the same problem, and yes, I read the patch notes.

What graphics card do you have? Nvidia gtx 660m
Have you added any command line arguments? Before the patch I turned grass off. Now it's still turned off but I can't seem to turn it back on.
Are you using the Dev version or the normal version? Normal version.
Are there any errors in the console (f1)? No.

I'd also like to note that before this patch that took directx11 away i was using the force d39 feature (or something along those lines) in the launch option to run the game in directx9 and when i used that my grass started to flicker before this last patch (and still continues to)
