I hosted a server from these guys for 3 mouths and loved it <3 buy a rust server from them in a bit :)
Glad you enjoyed your stay at HFBServers :) If we are allowed to host Rust and you rent a server you will most likely notice a MUCH faster support department, We recently brought on 4 more support reps.
Any idea on possible pricing for these servers?
Since we have not hosted a Rust server yet we do not know how well or I guess how bad it runs, So pricing will depend on the resources a Rust server uses. If its in anyway similar to a DayZ server resources we should be able to hit be in the $20 range, If rust servers use less than DayZ resource wise we might be able to get even cheaper.
Thanks for your interest.
wow. Thats pretty awesome :D
Hm, there was a server hoster on DayZ that was shit and people had a lot of problems with I don't remember which one though, but I don't think it was HFB
Maybe it was survival servers or something.
Every DayZ server host at some point seems to get flak for one thing or another. Most of the time it seems like a lot but in reality its usually just 1-2 angry customers posting, which for the most part from what I have seen over the years an angry customer is 100% more likely to post somewhere then a happy customer.
We have had several thousand DayZ customers since we started hosting and while we try to solve every issue and make every customer happy some do slip through the cracks. Just like any hosting business.
While I will agree that there are some hosts that receive more flak than others similar to what you described. I won't post their names on this thread as in 99% of the cases they have since stepped up their game and have treated their customers well since then.
I hope you guys can start hosting this so I can switch my dayz server to rust.
I hope they get to host rust servers. HFBServers 4 da win!
Glad to See your interest :) We really would like to start hosting asap.

Thank you for your support :) We also really would like to host Rust servers.

Great news everybody, We are now a Rust Approved host. We will begin testing server resources asap, and will hopefully begin selling servers very soon.
Once again, thanks for all the support from those who replied to this thread :)
Buying now :) Site is unfortunately slow, but hope for great support and server quality. I will leave more feedback in the future!
I assume the site is slow due to some sort of cloudflare issue with the node they are connecting you to (Have been seeing random issues as of late) I only blame cloudflare as at present the site is loading near instant for me and my phone.
I used these guys for my Dayz server they are awesome! :)
What server is better from spain?. France o Germany?. I want to buy it.

I´m trying to buy the server but I can´t. It's the third time that I see the next message:
"Please wait while you are redirected to the Gateway you chose to make payment.."
And i wait and wait and wait... :) and nothing!
Edited:
Finally i get it!, I.E was the problem.
I wouldn't recommend this service. It's pretty unprofessional.
I ordered and paid for a server, opened half a dozen emails from them and still had no server. I sent them an email, and four hours later, they respond that they have no more servers in that area, but if I want one three time zones away, or in Europe, they can give me one of those instead. They also told me I could just wait for them to add new servers, which would take at least 24 hours.
Now I get to wait and see how long it takes for them to refund my money.
Four hours later! Your complaining! Some services take DAYS to respond!
Running out of servers in an area happens with EVERY host, only 24 hours to add new servers? That's FAST!
I don't know where you have been living but you are complaining about nothing!
My experience with them has been just fine.
My only complaint is that today it seems every other hosting company has sent out an email detailing the newest issues, yet I haven't gotten one from HFB.
Edited:
I should follow that up by saying that the last 3 days HFB have been very forward about emailing users with information... so not getting a notice today isn't a big deal.
Well this order has been cancelled and refunded already. I apologize that we were out of stock and had to bring more machines online to add stock to the location that you chose. However you were presented with every viable alternative that we offer or you could have chosen to simply wait and have your server setup when we added more stock. Secondly I do not see "half a dozen emails" in your account but I do see the ticket that was responded to and addressed. If you experienced any lack of professionalism on our part please let me know as I would like to address this.
Yes as archie414 stated this does happen and as we do not oversell our machines it's sometimes possible that we run out quicker than other hosts. While we make every effort to avoid this running out of stock it can happen especially with the influx of orders for Rust.
I have a server and it's been offline still is since other servers are online these guys are good when ddoser don't mess with rust but if other servers are up HFB should be up too i'm sorry but it's making me lose trust because i'm loosing my player base i have a lot of people wanting to play my server.... over 70 people. :/
There is nothing that HFB can do about the issues with the game... in fact I'm pretty sure HFB (and other hosting companies) got hit with a DDoS earlier today.
I used HFB for my server and there are other servers online but my server instantly goes down when the DDoS hits. Why?
Also, it really sucks that as soon as I rent a server it gets DDoSed, is there no way to configure the firewalls to react to their attacks?
Currently hosting 2 Rust servers from HFB
No complaints. I love how fast they send out notification emails :3
Your server browser may say that other servers are online but it is likely incorrect. Some servers may be able to be online for a short time before the attacks start up again. This is probably what you're seeing.
I can connect to them.
That's why I said "Some servers may be able to be online for a short time before the attacks start up again."
Not having any issues with them currently.
With your last response, if you're Shawn, that makes 7 emails. So it was the sixth email that informed me you didn't actually have the server for which I already paid. So yeah, it was only five, not six.
Also, here's Shawn's response:
, we respond to all tickets by the last reply and you replied after the fact to try and get an update. Your server would of been setup as well now, but as you have elected to no longer want the service your server is refunded. Good day.

So basically, he/you tried to tell me it'd be done by now, thirty minutes later, even though I was told it would take at least 24 hours, but since I'm SO impatient, I could just take my ball and go play by myself.
I even find that unprofessional.
Anyway, I'm going to take my ball to another service and play. "Good day."
I think people found away to hack into my Game CP and mess with my server. please fix that.
I guarantee that no one has "hacked into" the Game CP, the only way someone is accessing your account without your authorization is if they have your login details, and the only way they would have your login details is if either you have given them out to someone, or you have a very weak password and someone simply guessed it.
We use tcadmin, which in the almost two years of us using it there has been no security breaches with it.
I just purchased a server with you today. You do not provide what is advertised. Your website says renting a Rust server comes with a free mumble server and it does not. You say you have protection from DDoS but you do not, I have not been able to play on the server since I purchased it. Your support team is working with me on pushing the billing date back because of DDoS issues, but quite frankly I want a refund if you cannot provide the service as advertised. Also it's fraud to say you'll provide a free mumble server and one is not provided. I would recommend another hosting company until hfbservers is able to resolve or mitigate DDoS attacks and actually deliver what is advertised on their website. I would also recommend facepunch remove HFB servers as an official vendor or release local hosting because it's pointless to pay real life money for no services rendered.
I laughed
Yeah, well I spent real life money on a server host that is unable to provide any service to me, I'm not laughing. With that said this is just my recommendation and opinion. There are other hosting companies which are immune to the DDoS attack and if HFB really cared about their customers they would resolve the issue as other hosting companies have. Money talks.
Im unsure why you feel that you do not get a free mumble, if you use the order link on the playrust wiki http://playrustwiki.com/wiki/List_of_Server_Providers it brings you directly to the order bundle that has the free mumble included, we have several hundred clients who have taken advantage of this offer, if you went through the main website and did not use the bundle on the playrustwiki you can simply submit a ticket and we will setup your free mumble and website.
Also the DDoS attacks that Rust has been experiencing is NOT a standard DDoS attack, as the developers have posted on the playrust.com website, and as Many users have posted on these forums it is an exploit in the actual code of the game, no standard DDoS protection from any host will protect from these attacks, thats why every single server host is being affected by the attacks, not just us. The developers of Rust are working on a patch for this but until they finally fully resolve it Every Server host will be vulnerable to this, whether they have no DDoS protection, or 100gbps DDoS protection.
Then why does your support team seem oblivious to this fact? On top of this, why are other companies able to host Rust servers while being listed without an issue? For the record that is the link I used. I had to add a mumble server to my order to get it in there, and it cost me money it was not free.
