    Hi all, i bought Rust yesterday as kind of a gamble.
    Knowing there where no refunds or minimum requirements avaible but i really wanted to play it [liked the video's on youtube]

    Only problem is that i have really low fps, even after setting everything to the lowest possible [graphics:fastest resolution:640x420]
    I also used those launch options commands i found on this forum, but to no avail. it did help a little but its still around the 20 fps i guess.

    My specs:

    AMD athlon x2 220 2.80 ghz
    Nvidia geforce 315
    4 GB ram

    And i can run most games fine on medium settings with fxaa and such off.

    -Also:

    I dont know how to use search here, so i might have missed some tweaks or settings i'm unaware off
    Secondly i think that render distance has something to do with it and maybe a setting for it would help me gain some fps.

    Kind regards, Captbuttplug

    Have you tried to play on full screen mode and remove grass?

    F1 then type;

    grass.on false

    I always play on fullscreen, and i will try the grass [i also tried putting that in launch options but that did nothing so i guess it should go via console]
    I tried the whole list with ''-force-feature-level-9-2'' and so on and it did increase fps a little
