    i have rented a server from them, don't order from them if you want to get DDos'ed. Their node gets ddos'ed everyday and 25 other people get effected by it too... its a waste of money...

    Flaws.
    Bad security.
    no ddos protection.
    bad service ( they make stupid excuses )

    i referred many friends of mine to their service. but when my server gets down 5 other friend message me the same thing. shit service and bad quality.

    We are sorry to hear that you haven't been satisfied with us.
    Feedback is important to us and yes DDoS attacks can be annoying. However, are you sure, you and your friends didn't mistake the announced server restart for a network crash ;) ?
    The problem with DDoS attacks is that you can only do so much when there is an application weakness. The developers are aware of this fact and have already contacted the networking library developers (it's a third-party library).
    We are happy that most of our customers seem to be happy with us so far. Of course, not everyone's experience is the same. We always appreciate your criticism if it is stated in helpful detail - because hey, noone is perfect.

    how do i work out which server is ustx60.playrust.eu? i think they changed the name of the server and its not in my history :(

    Hi - if it's not in your history it's most likely 'gone' (the customer didn't pay and his service is now discontinued)

    First of all this is way too expensive. I pay my dedicated server 38€ per month i can install huge ammount of Rust servers (if i get password to branch hint hint garry) on my own server. I allready have 6 TF2 servers running and i have only 0,49% system load (yes under 1 procent) and i have DDoS protection wich costs me only 1€ more (thats why 38€)

    So far they even Threatened me with a ban too xDDDD, this server provider is shit dont even try to get a server from them.

    No DDoS? Yeah nope. DDoS is kinda must in server hosting business. No DDoS = No clients. Also if one server gets hit, all come affected

    After visiting a few webpages of Play Rust server hosts I found that playrust.eu had servers with the best performance and quality. I proceeded with going over to their live support for more questions where I immediately got helped, when all my questions were answered I ordered a server and I was very satisfied with the results. Until now I have experienced no downtimes and great support whenever I need it. I'm very happy & I think they are the best server hosting company out there at the moment and that's why I took the time to write this review.

    We bought a server from playrust.eu and we are VERY UNSATISFIED with what transpired afterwards.

    First off, there support team is only online during German times. So when you first get your account and can't log in because the login-server is down like it was for us, you are out of luck.

    After getting into the server the back-up protocols did not work, it wasn't until days later when they responded to my support ticket was the issue resolved.

    The server would work perfectly but would suffer from crippling lag issues in spikes that would last for hours at a time. Restarting the server had no effect which proves that it was the server itself which was at fault. (This was the dual-core, 4GB, 60-Euro package, by the way)

    We eventually got fed up and decided we would cancel our subscription next month. Upon doing so the server blocked all our access before wiping it completely. Despite the fact that I have a receipt showing that I had purchased the server for a month it was now blocking my access to it. I opened up yet ANOTHER support ticket but their poor grasp of the English language severely hindered their ability to understand the intricacies of what had happened. It took another day or so before we go it reactivated, only to have it deactivated the same day.

    Again I opened up ANOTHER ticket and had it this time responded to by the CIO of the company himself German Hoeffner:

    Hello,

    if you send in a cancellation request, your product will be cancelated as requested by you.

    Sincerely,
    German Hoeffner

    Well there you go, I "cancelated" my subscription and it immediately restricted my access to the server I had already paid in full at the beginning. Subsequent requests to get it reactivate worked but the CIO himself overrode that decision, personally.

    My advice for other Americans and non-German speaking people to get a local, COMPETENT host.

    On the frontpage it says 400 slots but when you're at the confirmation screen it shows 250 slots, still the same allocated amount of hardware or has that changed accordingly?

    I am also trying to get some more info and possibly signing up for a BASIC plan but it seems a bit difficult since I've been awaiting some answers to my inquiries since the 24th this month (when I sent my ticket).
