So I bought your game and was able to play briefly the first day, but have been waiting patiently to play since then; it looks like everybody else has access but me.. I tried searching to see if anyone else had this issue but to no success:

Whenever I start the game, I cannot see ANY servers, the servers never populate in the 'play game' window. Refresh button doesn't even appear to work (it would probably be helpful to at least have a 'pressed' animation to see if the button is even working). Can't even bring up a console or log or anything like that...

What is going on here?

After looking in rust directories, I found this in the 'output_log' but, evidently, it is of no help;

Error! Couldn't refresh servers!!

The problem was temporarily fixed from restarting steam, but the problem will return after an undetermined amount of time. Should never happen

still can't figure out how to fix it. restarting steam doesn't even work for me.

Hey! Found the solution:

Problem:
Something to do with the link with Steam.
When entering the console, you get the error: 'Error! Couldn't Refresh Servers!!', or whatever.
In the console, when you try reconnecting (type 'net.reconnect'), you get the error: 'Connection Failed (no steam detected)

Solution:
Step 1: Launch the game directly from steam.

That's it!
I'm assuming you set up a shortcut or something to launch the game.
All you have to do is open it through the steam client. Woo!

I am assuming you've re-installed the game from steam? Restarted your computer, maybe even restarted your modem/router/internet?

If this doesn't work try resetting your steam, I believe you delete everything from the Steam folder except the steam.exe (please google this, I can't remember tbh). You can still save your games! Only re-download steam itself.
