I feel kind of fooled because i bought the game and can't play it with my friends on my own dedicated-server. I realy hope you guys will rethink your decision and make the server-files accessibly for everyone. I do understand why you first deceicded do go this way but you could make some kind of a compromise and do not list private-servers inside the server-browser?
I the meantime (and certainly after that...) i also would like to request the privilege to host my own server so i need a Key. We own a suitable infrastructure :
HP Professional Server
Intel XEON E3 1240v2 4 x 3,4 GHz
2 x 3.000 GB Enterprise-HDD (RAID 1 and daily SIS-Backups)
32 GB DDR3 ECC Server-RAM
1.000 Mbit Full Flatrate Backbone (synchronous!) - 5 IPv4-Adresses
24/7 Monitoring-System and APC-Power Backup
So i think we are capable to host a few servers and make sure everything works as fine as possible. We are working in a small team of 5 people in this infrastructure. So please provide us a Key and we will provide Fun :-)
Thank you!
Kind regards
vitafit

I concur.
I have a dedicated server capacity for most of my games and friends, Minecraft, Battlefield etc...
I have to make do with only one, laggy and admin-abused South African server, or contend with overseas servers and even worse lag.
I don't really see the point to keeping the server files private. I don't see how it changes the creators idea of the game?
It does however, provide a safer and fun environment for people and friends to learn how to play and grow.
