Its there PRIVATE server, they can do as they wish. Thats why garry put those commands there, they wouldnt add them if they didnt support it. No one said you had to use that kids server. Go ahead and use the public ones. Some people use those commands to bug test

Exactly, when this happened I was standing there talking to a bunch of people and the OP of this thread came running in shooting at everyone, including me, he basically thought he could take on 5 people at once, anyway when he came running in yelling his war song and started shooting me "btw I was naked maybe thought I was an easy target" and yeah I was in god mode but I wasn't playing just talking with people of the server. He then got killed by the people I was talking with. He raged really hard in the server before posting his BS thread here crying admin abuse. So apparently standing around talking with people is cheating.

That's fine, but one would wonder why you were standing there in godmode in the first place.
It's your server, you can do what you want. Just be honest about it.

You guys are all missing the point. If its their server and they can do what they want DON'T ACTIVELY PUBLISH FORUMS TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO YOUR SERVER THEN. They are the ones who posted this BS thread about how fair and balanced their server would be, which is why lots of people felt like trying it out. So if its "their" server, and they actually don't want it to be fair and want to test stuff out and do what they want, then don't actively push a different message, that's the real problem. Him standing around with other people in godmode is not cheating, but how can you say its fair that a meat shield is right there to take hits, regardless if its a 5v1, that's still dumb that the admin would put himself in a situation like that. You are basically saying, oh, the guy who is raging should have somehow known that naked guy was an admin in godemode and he was just there standing around shooting the shit. If you haven't noticed, its a survival game that you shoot first and ask questions later. If you want to talk to people, you really think wandering around in godmode is the best way to do it when you are trying to preserve a specific integrity to the server?

Yes i agree, the mcm us 1 server had commands like give items to them selfs and they got the whole mcm clan together and went on a raiding spree and my friend and i killed a couple and they had 20 charges 5k 556 ammo and meds on deck...

I can't say I was really active on the forums before i knew about Rust.
As a matter of fact, I don't think I even had a forum account.
But since Rust. there have been alot of really ( And I mean REALLY ) new and stupid people joining.
Like all those "Remove naked diks omg" "Omg serwer ownr hax. omg" "lul. this game is copy of meincraft" "We ddus ur geim cause we no get keys" "Pls gib key, my mom no buy me naked dik geim" And that kind of people joining every day. It just seems kindof sad. Ofcourse this happens everywhere.
It's just. Kinda sad :/

BMRF server is being abused by its admin madhatter. hes running around with his buddy warmonger hacking and theres nothing anyone can do. Sad part is its the most populated server. it says 'OFFICIAL RUST SERVER' but really its privately run. Also youll get banned if you talk about how warmonger is a hacker.

We should run a site for Rust servers. RustServerReview.com perhaps.
Players can leave reviews on servers (text review + star rating). Might help in choosing a server to play on.
