Post #41This happens to my friend as well... I can connect to Khaos Zone just fine. And btw this server is one of the best I have tried. No lag what so ever... Only one disconnect last evening.
But how can i get my friend to connect? When he tries it say "connecting" and then he returns to server list... We have reinstalled Rust but that didnt help. The same thing happens for him on server Central Europe By Playrust

We're out of stock, so I can't provide you with a server anyway. Sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully you'll be able to find a good home somewhere else.
You mentioned in your PM that you submitted a ticket so I decided not to reply back. All tickets have been answered for several hours now.

I selected 'Dallas' as the hosted location. When I get some time later, I'll see if I can change the server name to include something that indicates its location.

$25\mo is incredibly reasonable. It has nothing to do with the status of the game. Whether alpha or beta or production -- there are real resources, computers, bandwidth, support personnel, etc. that cost real money, regardless of the status of the game.
As to your second point, my guess is because Garry and FP would prefer that the server binaries not be publicly available yet.
I for one would love to be able to self host a LAN game. I'm hoping FP and/or the hosting providers will provide some way to create a whitelist so I could make my server 'invite only'. I am not holding my breath.

Garry: This is an issue we're debating right now. We do want people to host their own servers.. but we don't really want you to be joining servers with admins and their friends running around owning everything.. which is kind of inevitable.

I would take issue with the 'kind of inevitable.' For any admins running any servers that want to have a vibrant, interactive community, that won't happen. If you don't like the server, go to a different one where that isn't happening.
I would also say that with there still being a dupe issue, people are running around owning everything.

They want the community to make the game this can only be done if admins are allowed to create buildings and environments freely. Like buliding admin owned buildings with loot that is there to be raided or admins creating little towns and arenas where heavy pvp action can take place

I've enabled the ability to run your own server updates for rust with "steam update". Other changes coming soon along with more information on stock.

When i log in to my account it says my server is 50 slots, is that a mistake?

What features are available? RCON? Same as playrust.eu?

It's still basic on our end. Start/stop and FTP with the option to update your servers. RCON will eventually become available however.

I'm trying to login but it's saying I am entering the wrong password but I am sure I am typing it right. I try to recover it and my email isn't in the data base. I sent in a ticket, hopefully I get a response ASAP, wanting to pay for my server.

Every location on the order page is out of stock, so it won't be possible to setup your server right now. However, feel free to order again once stock becomes available!

DAMN IT!, I ordered a server today guess I am at the back of this line. If the servers were not available why would the company open sale? I will give it the 48 hrs they stated but after that....will take action for refund through the proper channels, I suggest all others do the same as this is called a misleading sale.

to set it for PVE and change name etc, cant seem to find any info for it,
part form the rcon commands showing on wiki.

We ran out of stock. I've added more stock to the page with a ETA of 24 hours. Waiting on more more hardware right now but it shouldn't take long.

Yes you can wipe data. I don't have any test servers but you can browse the forum here - some people have advertised us as their host with the IP listed.

Just recently purchased a server and was wondering, is the ETA for setup still 24 hours?

On signup if there is a ETA it is listed on the location field. If it was there when you ordered then yes there is. :)

Most of the pending rust servers have been provisioned. Unfortunately stock ran out again and a couple are backed up - another node is still pending so if you haven't been setup yet it should be up at some point tomorrow hopefully. Sorry for the delay :(
