It would be nice in the future if there was a VOIP volume slider control in the audio settings.
I find myself adjusting the sound up & down to hear players and playing the game.
I have to turn up to hear someone and then down because when acquiring wood or anything else is loud.
Maybe the devs could add it sometime.

Hopefully this is implemented soon, it's almost impossible to hear a lot of people with mics.

Agreed, and it's especially deafening when hatcheting an animal or putting on/taking off clothes.

More sound options in general would be nice.

I think it takes in the user's defined mic input volume.
I met a guy who was shouting he's friendly, but I barely heard anything at all. (he was close to me as I was about to blow him into pieces with a pipe)
And then another guy attacked me screaming gibberish and it was so loud that I had to take off my headphones.
So, maybe some kind of equalizer would be great.

I can't even get my microphone to work (last time I tried, haven't tried for a few updates).
That kind of worries me (because believe it or not I wrote that voice chat - it's a paid asset on the Unity asset store).
I would really like to see:
- Volume slider for all voice chat
- Slider for my own microphone volume
- Mute All option
- Test Microphone button. Click the button, speak into the microphone, click the button again and listen to your own voice so you can test the volume and quality as others would hear it.
The first three the voice chat supports, they just haven't made options for them. The last one isn't directly supported, but not hard to implement by any means.
As far as an equalizer... unfortunately I don't think I can do that unless they directly contracted me for it. I implemented a custom volume equalizer for another customer, and as part of the contract I'm not allowed to put those modifications in a public release of the voice chat :C

yea this would be a good feature.... anyone else wanting them to have some sort of notification when a person is talking? like a mic flicker above their head. even if you can hear someone... how do you know it is them you are talking to? its not like its giving your position away because talking is doing that.
