The OSX client is on Steam now.. but in developer mode.
To switch to developer mode the process is the same as Garry's Mod: http://support.facepunchstudios.com/...the-dev-branch
Let me know how you get on, whether it works or not.. and any bugs you can see (which should be quite a lot).
We've only just got this working so things will probably be quite rough (which is why it's on the developer branch and not the main branch).

As i started it up,i noticed the rust alpha little logo.I was able to see how many players were in each server.The loading time is great,but as the game started that when i saw alot of bugs.Such as black skys and alot of glitchy everything.

Yeah I have something thats wrong when I try connect to a server it won't load it up

Also the lag is extreme even on the lowest graphical settings possible. Are you aware of this? Its not like it was always like this.

Is anyone working on making the lag less severe? I just hope that i will be able to play again. It's been a month :(

Do we still need to switch to the dev mode thing? It wont let me, i go to Properties and i cant switch to the "dev" mode. If you have a solution, a reply would be good. ;)
Just realized it was probably because my game was running at the time, sorry.
Now the game is freezing up my computer and won't load, I've waited a good 20-30 minutes. Any solutions?

I've been trying but it seems to keep locking-up after joining a server. It's at the loading portion where it says "loading GUI".

Seems to work fine for me, however, there are still green pixels on my screen. it also seems that when i open the options, it freezes; dont know if it is a one time thing or what. Other than that, i am very impressed, and i hope to see this game continue to grow and develop!

I open rust and click run then it comes up with a grey screen saying "fetching load list" It has been like that for 30 minutes and still not changed I have tried verifying the game and still nothing.

Wait so this thread just for bugs with the OSX Client?
Because if it ISN'T then I really need your help Garry. Also I see others posting bugs but is it just for OSX client?

Is the window mode not displaying properly a bug in general or just OSX?
I find that when clicking anything i have to be a little below the button for it to register it (only in windowed mode).
For example to click a server and join i would have to click the server under it.
Also just playing in fullscreen mode and it became unresponsive. I had just hit a zombie when it happen, could still hear the sounds but could not move. Was forced to restart steam to play again.

My experience is with the OSX freezing at "loading GUI".

I am getting the same error as Tough Kuno..... "fetching load list". OSX 10.7.5 with latest Steam client.

But now when I join a server which is Australia 1 It loads everything then gets to loading gui and gets about half way then stops and I get the rainbow wheel spinning thingy
