The point is that you shouldn't have passed it around to your guild mates, you should have reported it as a bug, and not use it to: "I wanted to troll people with having no name". Glad you got banned TROLL. When you find a bug or exploit you are supposed to report it so they can fix it. Not use it to your advantage for trolling players. Hope you lost a lot of money buying all those copies.

If you mean that its "ok" to use a blank name, then no. Its clearly not ok, hence people getting banned for it. Having the same name as someone else, is not against the rules. There are thousands of people with the same name in real life, and if they want to have the same name in-game, then what should stop them? My point is, you can't compare "having the same name" with "having a blank name".

Yup... alpha is for finding bugs. Unfortunately for you, you abused the bug... and the devs found the bug before you people decided to report it.
Not only did some of you NOT report it, but you spread the information to your friends.
I wouldn't even call it a bug. More of an oversight that having a blank name is possible. Normal people input a name, especially when they realize their name isn't showing up. Anyone who keeps a blank name obviously does not have the best of intentions.

Since you knew what the end results were, and you did not report it as a bug, but decided to use it to your trolly advantage, you clearly are in the wrong. Go back over the terms of use, and if you find a loophole, then you might be able to get unbanned. Using known bugs or exploits, rather than reporting them is clearly a violation of the terms of use.

A bug, a exploit, and a hack will all get you banned when you do them on purpose, which you obviously were because you also posted,

If you "accidentally" had your name bugged, you would have seen that and changed it immediately. You were banned for an exploit, because you knew what it did and continued to do it.

how can someone NOT get that having a blank name would lead to a ban ? thats what im wondering, everyone who plays games knows that using a game mechanic in some manner that wasnt intended or taking advantage of dev slipups in the coding eventually leads to a ban, its kinda the essence of what "exploit" means
