Hi so i wanted to troll some kids on the game, so instead of numbers and letters i put symbols and turns out my name was invisible, now im banned for that what is this? i really like this game!

I GOT banned WTF for copying a name and it says im a hacker
Ok so my mate said heres a cool little thing and i copy it and paste it and then i got banned lol
its says
your account has been banned
"empty name hacker"
if you think this is a mistake ask in our forum

it's cheating, you have no name, that's why you got ban, just play with a name like everyone else and you won't have any problems

So I wanted to troll people with having no name running around so whenever somebody finds me or if I make an enemy they won't know who I am I'd have no name and it would be REALLY funny. But I come on this morning and it said" You have been Banned, Empty Name Hack" so if I could get UNbanned for this I'd really appreciate it because I have play this game for 3 months and I have bought 4 Accounts just so my friends could play too. While I'm on it, they all got banned too because they had No-Name, so PLEASE unban us, we didn't know it was bannable!

You guys seem to be missing the point OP is trying to make. Perhaps reading isn't your strongest point? Or english isn't OP's strongest point?
He COPY and PASTED a regular, non-blank name to change his name. However, for whatever reason, upon logging in to a server, his copy and pasted (non-blank) name, appeared as a blank name. Hence the ban.

I don't believe OP didn't know what was going to happen.
I also don't believe OP didn't do it full well expecting to be able to abuse the glitch.

Well I didn't really know AT ALL that I would get banned. Honestly, I REALLY want a second chance, PLEASE, I will change my name instantly I just didn't know this would happen :(
It's a bug I know, I should have posted it on the Forums but I'm sorry didn't do it. My friend jackool showed me how to make an invisible name and I didn't think it was true, but when I logged in it worked an like 5 minutes later I was banned. So PLEASE unban me :(

Well, perhaps OP was lying and actually tried making his name blank. Which is obviously stupid. Either way, it wasn't the point he was trying to make.

It's an alpha. You're supposed to report it BEFORE you get banned... obviously.

Well then I misunderstood the situation. My bad. If you purposely changed your name to be blank, you deserve to be banned. It obviously isn't allowed. Maybe you will think longer next time before you try and be a childish troll.
With that being said, perhaps Garry could put something in to prevent people from even trying? Like if you make your name blank and hit okay it says 'That name is invalid'. Just a thought.

Thanks Garry and the team, for actually starting to do something against hacks. This is the first step, and people who tried/tries to change should be banned and stay banned, no forgiveness. 1 thing though I think there should be somewhere a reminder or something, that people should not try to change the name to a noname, or he will be banned.

I know it was 5 MINUTES, I wanted to test it out first to see if it was actually true to see if people really couldn't see my Name. If I posted it instantly before actually having clear proof then I would be lying. Thats why I didn't post it yet!

Don't know if you have noticed this but there has been a shitton of reports of someone without a name hacking and shit. I don't know for sure if you intended to play without name but CoD doesn't exactly have rampant hackers.
And don't act like that. You wouldn't do it face to face so don't do it here.

I really hope that you don't get unbanned. In the other thread, you CLEARLY said you did it to "troll" people. You actually knew what would happen, and you and your friends shared the "glitch" with eachother, so you could all have a blank name.
It might not be a direct hack, but its abusing a glitch in the game. Now you suddently wanted to report it as a bug, but its funny how you kept playing with the empty name untill you got banned, and you did not report it as a glitch untill someone else on the forums said you should have.
Please don't unban these guys, thank you.
